Blitzway doesn't play fair. All of us who bought the Blitzway when it was released 2 summers ago should have had this BLAZING Sword included with it. We spent nearly 800$ and got cheated. But I am happy you have one.

Yeah, I can understand your frustration with that for me I was just holding off to see if the original set price would come down (which it never did) but tbh if you have the original set you do have the superior version.

@@CZEN2 you can buy the display base separately you know? Its retail price is 150$ but I can only find it on Ebay for 300$ which I'm not paying. Because I can't find it anymore for 150$

I am cognizant of that, however, it is not a necessity for me. Furthermore, with the introduction of the black version, the need for it has become even more negligible.

What is the difference between the U.S. version and the Japanese version besides the sword?

No extra weapons and no base, and you only get some of the batteries

I wish Blitzway made available the blazing sword by itself for those of us that bought regular version. I don't want to have to buy the Japanese version just to get that sword.

I agree. However, I don't think it's likely I think the best bet may be a 3rd party manufacturer doing it.

I'm just curious if this is a mass release or limited, there's really nothing to distinguish it as such other than the addditional sword and lack thereof on the weapons set. Still thanks for the review...

My guess is that it was limited to japan. I haven't seen any US sites have it up. Plus, the original release is still easily attainable in the states.

this Voltron is great but its made in China. Too bad there no Made in Japan Voltron

I'm pretty sure Blitzway is out of South Korea. However, I'm not sure if it was manufactured in China
