I have a theory about the bad batch's inhibitor chips - that since Crosshair's mutation is his eyesight, it would've meant the least resistance to the chip as it was the least drastic mutation (I also think just believed in following orders anyway). The other example is Wrecker, who eventually snapped and gave in to the chip. Whilst his mutation is extreme, it is not mental and would not put up too much of a resistance. I think that both Tech and Hunter's chips worked the least as their enhancements were mental - tech's mind and hunter's senses, which would explain why neither of them gave in to the order at all when crosshair and wrecker did. And Echo, my poor guy, just got screwed up in that stasis tank...

ARC Troopers were more independent than standard clones because they were created,at least in Legends,to be chain of command links between the Jedi and the standard clones. Why? Because neither Jango Fett nor the Kaminoans had a lot of faith in the Jedi's ability to be military commanders. The solution was to create clones who could fulfill that role. They were capable of pushback,which allowed them strategic input, but they'll obey at the end of the day.

It's possible Crys, Boomer and Sinker disobeyed Order 66 after heard about inhibitor chip from Fives, One Clone officer at 79s was told Crys about the chip, after Cody blasting obi-wan in Utapau, Crys was figure this out how to remove cody's chip, when The Empire starts, most 212th clones is unhappy, they believe it's lost. When new animated series about Clone Rebellion after Cody gone awol, Crys will find clones who can able help him, like Boomer and Sinker, they become Cody's resistance group.

One of the best episodes of the bad batch was when crosshair fought alongside Cody. God I got chills from that one. But whatever happened to Cody after he deserted? I don’t remember seeing him later on.

Captain Rex was a light in the clones to resist the Empire, he inspired many clones to fight against the Empire like he inspired the bad batch, Gregor, Howzer, Samson, Greer, Fireball, Nemec, Wolffe, and I am sure many other clones too after the battle of Tantiss was won by the bad batch and the other clones that were imprisoned and escaped with them from there and my only wish and theory is that Jesse could have survived order 66 and lived to go with Rex, but in the end even though he accused Rex of treason against the grand army of the republic and demoted him in rank from commander, ordering the other clone troopers to execute Ahsoka and Rex, and him and the other clones trying to kill them when they were trying to escape and survive, Jesse and the other clones deserved to be buried for all the good they have done and for there service for the Jedi Order, the Republic, and for the Galaxy and they were all good soldiers and they will all be gravely missed.

I thought Crosshairs literally started that he never had a control chip and he executed Order 66 out of his own will. Order 66 didn't include killing noobs that weren't following orders.

No it's not like that, Crosshair did have the chip at the start of order 66, the Kaminoans even enhanced it's function after seeing his was kind of active. After removing it, later on, he continued to work for the empire despite not having the chip
