I'm in Denver.I live in an apt. complex. It got down to -11° and a watermain burst. Haven't had running water for 4 days now. Thanks to your videos I have alot of water stored. Even in an apartment you can do this. I've been able to flush the toilet, wash dishes, cook,keep myself clean. Simple things like that we take for granted. This is the first time I've had to use my supply. I don't have an unlimited supply so I'm learning how to use it wisely and ration it. We are up to 38° right now. Praying for everyone. Love that lol, the Gulf of America! we woke up to 24° in South Central Texas with some snow and Icy roads. We are not used to that. I am glad that the boarder was closed. There were a lot of sad people who did not make it in time. I pray for them to come in the right way. Our world needs lots of prayer.

Havent had snow since 2017/18 here in GA now have 3 or 4 inches of snow. It is absolutely different than when in places used to it and have lived in MO in a bad winter storms and here people think can drive cause from somewhere else but we have no salt or trucks and is different in way it is. Now it is illegal to drive unless emergency and if get in an accident insurance wont cover it if said dont drive or warnings. So if you go out and get in accident it will be on you. Yes biggest threat is people acting crazy here like they have been in stores last few days or out.

We get snow here in Texas, some places more then others. Panhandle and along the red river part get more snow. But from there down isn't real bad. We have had 8 inches here in NE Texas. But the panhandle can get up to 30 inches, at least it did when I lived there. My dad use to have to climb out of a window to shovel snow from the garage door and driveway and front door. Thay didn't give points on the jobs back then. People were more sensible. I was born and raised in the panhandle of Texas. The 30 inches was a big snow. They always get a good pretty snow. I don't know about Houston and those lower areas. But the summer heat and humidity is what many people can't hardly take here in woody area's.

In 19 I believe it was when Tx had that freak ice storm my daughter was deployed 12 miles from Juarez and stuck in a hotel 3 weeks before her ambulance could move , flushing toilet w pool water. They still for weeks were doing 1 run a day taking pts to hosp was a four hr one way drive due to rds they didn't have right equip to clear like we do here. So one trip was usually half hour one way ended being 8 hrs rnd trip. They lost a lot of folks because o2 would run out before they could get to hosp ( only allowed to carry so much) hopefully they have learned

I have never seen snow before (I have seen it flurry / sleet, but melt on impact)... tonight will be interesting. Not sure if we will get some snow or just freezing rain / ice. Forecast is saying 1/2" - 1" of ice or snow mix for us. We are planning on staying in tomorrow until we see how the roads are. Hope all our animals can handle the cold. We are supposed to get down into the lower 20s later this week. Not great for the winter crops and our citrus trees. After experiencing 3 hurricanes in 2024... 2025 is not starting out great for us in North FL :)
