This is the exact problem with this type of ski - if you really want a carver, you are far better to have a 65-68 underfoot carving machine that is quick edge to edge so that it gives you the feel of control, which is needed, at these types of fast carving speeds. The only exception here is if you ski on massive terrain on your own. If you are even thinking of this ski, I guarantee you that if you Demo the new 2021 Fischer RC4 GS radius ski (17-18 meter radius), you will never purchase an 80-90 underfoot hardcore carver.

I don't think they made this ski for me, but I do believe there are skiers (esp East Coast) who want this kind of grip in a wider ski. If that's you, go for it. If not, I agree, a modified GS racer is going to be a lot more fun for carving. :)

@@AndyLewicky I'm an East coaster, and after an exhaustive look and experimentation, I determined an Enforcer 88, with its early taper and front rocker, but similar insane levels of grip on ice, is a better hybrid type ski for when we get some fresh snow or lots of crud - the tip shape brings far more flexibility than the locked in, too much camber feel (being slow edge to edge) of these wide carvers. I've paired my Enforcer 88 with a Volkl Racetiger SL and after demoing the new 2021 Fischer RC4 skis, the GS ski will be on my list for next year. If you get a chance to demo these new Fischer skis, absolutely do it - they are incredible.
