You know what doesn’t make sense to me is all these nerfs but if we remember they nerfed healing by 25% at the start of season two? These things seem to work against each other? What’s your take on that?

Personally, the only issue I have ever felt were affixes like afflicted and incorporeal in fortified keys. I think that these affixes should only appear on bosses during fortified week, and appear exclusively during trash on tyrannical weeks to make a more balanced experience. Its way too overwhelming to deal with incorporeals and afflicted affix on fortified keys in my personal experience. Or just prune them entirely.

Are you serious? These are easy af as there are tons of classes that deal with them with instant casts. Perhaps your issue is that it's YOUR problem, and not (just) tank's or healer's? The annoying affixes are bursting, bolstering and sanguine because they severely limit what kind of pulls you can do.

Love the nerfs but my god, why couldnt they approach previous seasons with this philosophy. Season 3 is still FULL of literally the most bullshit mechanics to ever exist. Wanna time a high AD key? You better be good at perfectly stacking inside the hitbox of a charging Juggernaut otherwise you're gonna instantly brick the whole key. You also better be ready to interrupt a 1 second cast that comes out on a specific mob with no warning whatsoever while that mobs nameplate is stacked with like 7 other mobs and other CC needs to be going out. We also need an external website to know whether or not we have enough Vers to survive certain boss mechanics, we run a couple dozen weak auras to call out fatal mechanics that Blizz could easily communicate to us with visual cues and you still have absolute garbage like the frontal slam on Yalnu (everbloom) not actually matching the existing visual cue. It's been that way like almost half a year now.

M+ is the best content in wow. Some afflic suck like this week sanguine+incorporeal+fortified and bloat swirls spam for casters. Melee run 123 around packs while casters try to get a cast off in bullet hell. Dont make max level vault reward and loot any easier. +18 is allready quite easy for 483 and 489 gear from vault. Make raids in sections as it is in raid finder where you can progress in 3 bosses at time. Full 9 boss pug run just take too long. Group finder would have raids for bosses 1-3, 4-6 7-9 etc you have to progress from 1 to 9 not straight to last boss.

There is no hardcoded limit to how big keys can get. It's literally designed to stop getting harder at level appropriate for your skill and provide you with challenge to overcome.

@@Ennar the risk is the skill jump becomes too high for those who haven’t done keys before. Make the lower keys easy, and the higher jumps exponentially. If it scales right all good.

@@GeneralVorrr I don't understand how the scaling of keys relates to what you originally said. You said don't make it too easy, still need challenge, to which my response is no matter how much they nerf bosses or mechanics, you can always get to a key that will get back to what it was before nerfs. The point of nerfing is not that dungeon as a whole is easier, it's balancing internal to dungeon, so that you never get to a situation where on the same key you can roflstomp whole dungeon but one boss that will return you to kindergarten. I think, at least conceptually, what they are doing is good, making heroic dungeons relevant again in terms of difficulty and rewards, without the time pressure, while removing 10 useless levels of m+ that nobody plays anyway except those without rio because they don't have a choice since they won't get invited. Presumably, newer players can now actually use heroic dungeons to learn mechanics of the dungeon before they are thrown into time pressure, which they couldn't so far because there will always be someone with mythic gear boosting their friends alt doing weekly soloing the whole dungeon where you don't even get to play as a new player.

As someone who doesn't really like or do M+ at all, and as an outside observer, I suspect that, more than M+ being "easy", some people don't enjoy dungeons feeling needlessly punishing and tedious. It's why I don't do them. I felt like I was in a tedious situation with very high pressure to pay attention to a dozen mechanics for 30-40 minutes per run, depending on the dungeon. It was exhausting (Even on the lower end of the dungeon difficulty spectrum). I imagine that, had the dungeons been difficult without the need for a half dozen mechanics per trash pull including affixes, M+ would be in a more enjoyable place for people like me.

Still Blizzard has to make def CDs equal. Its unfair how tanky mage and warlock are compared to hunter and shaman, e.g. Another season with fire mage being s-tier... boring

Yea make ranged equal give warlock mage chain armour and most important cast while moving and 123 rotation. Also give healing and shield. Mage survive big mechanics but is bad against rot type damage dot. Mage is very squishy cloth armour low hp with no way to heal. Fire and frost mage is high tier becouse they are most useful bl users.

Pass. I am just not supporting a system that ruined WoW. Going into a dungeon with a timelimit turns it into a race every time. I love raiding, but I don't like having to be on my toes for multiple Mythic + dungeons in my relax time. I dont care how easy the dungeons are now....Raider IO, the addon bloat, and racing in every aspect of the game....Pass.

How did M+ ruin wow? M+ hardly requires any brain power up until 27s. And no one said you HAD to beat the timer, you can deplete your key and take it chill if that's what you prefer. Yes, it's more beneficial for everyone if you time your key as you get more loot but no one said you had to time your keys. You still get your vault at the end of the week.

They'll need to take care of the 1% best players too, however. Not easy but make punishments optional but with rewards for the eSports folks. my .02

I think if they made bleeding edge content (myth raid , 30+ keys) cosmetic rewards instead of power level that would be amazing. Then people like us can still get powerful and feel satisfied and the streamers and teenagers can push for their shiny cosmetics
