The wood cabin and the stone heath around you radiates a nourishing heat as you sit content and protected from the raging winds of a winter storm beyond the thick cabin walls. The only thing louder than the whistling wind itself, is the crackling wood burning fire as it dousing the room in a firelight of reds and oranges.

This soundscape is a composite of some crazy chinook wind sounds taken during the fall/winter of 2017 near the Rock Mountain foothills by Calgary, Alberta, and campfire sounds taken during my summer in the mountains of BC in 2017.
