I think the resemblence to Tear comes from the "conditional" hits, milling a "name" doesn't do anything unless you have material on board and the spirits to ascend it to. Unlike Wulf and Felis that just summon themselves for free without a second thought.

I've been testing self mill blizzstrix as well. couple things I've noticed in testing: 1) Drops of lethe seems fine here- putting back stuff you'd rather mill can be nice and the extra draw is pretty negligible . 2) This might be a bit of a hot take, but I could see copies of ambrosia-cornucopia being played in this since we already play ambrosia, this would allow extra heals, and again the draw is fairly negligible. 3) This might just be me but I'm not a fan of khione in this. With how expensive the deck is, playing khione feels kind of neg since we're not using nexus and we already have rise and emphrostix to revive stuff.

Man this sim he's using makes it hard for me to keep track of things, I feel like shit just pops in and out of existence before my eyes and things just get attached and cost gets paid and my Master Duel brain is confused there are no pretty colors telling me what's going on

Do you think we could potentially fit a 6 card morphrost engine in here for searchable removal and free guys to recycle off of Strix? I really like Scorpio form and want to use it in this deck, but I don't see a single build of this deck that uses morphrost...

Ive seen builds that use it, but personally im not a fan, its often too slow and adds more bricks to the deck for a payoff the deck couldve done anyways had it just drawn combo and not morphrost cards. Blizz is better removal anyways. In testing I found that if i was ever in a position where normal cast scorpio was my best play, I simply shouldve mulliganed. As for the ability to turn on Moralith with Lycan, Tadfloe also does that.

I’m messing around with a build that’s running 2 Lycan, 1 Batt and 2 Golden Apple of Discord. It’s probably like strictly worse, but I think Morphrost is neat. I haven’t picked up any Moonrise yet, but I’ll probably play around with Scorpion form. I don’t have the Blizzstrix package so it mostly uses Emphrostix (sp?) to facilitate plays a lot more frequently. I’ve talked with a few people about Tadfloe over Morphrost and I personally prefer the Morphrost engine but I mean you’re gonna be running the Emphrostix anyways, I would just try it out for a few games and see how you like it

this deck reminds me of dragon turbo in edison format. it Is the type of deck that on paper is pretty good and can win you a lot of games if gone interrupted. but, it's incredibly bricky and in order to win the game, you have to completely disrespect your opponent, hoping that they don't have anything to interact with you.
