Hi, thanks for your question - both are possible so it depends on which format you want to work with LGS or RCP.

what exactly did we do in Cyclone 360? can't we take data directly into Recap?

No, you can not. BLK uses Cyclone Field to capture the data. This has to be processed in Cyclone Register 360 before it can be exported to other formats. It’s clear in the video what Cyclone Register does and why it’s required. There are no short cuts with point clouds.
