Nothing major, just some pickups from the past few months. Thrift shops, Flea Markets, Pawn shops, junk shops, retail and anywhere else I see something of interest. Always love sharing the gaming/collecting hobby with the community.
A lengthy pickup video calls for the Proper Dose of cold beer in my glass , and this one is aptly named...and Holy Cow this is a great beer! Amazing nose on this one and goes down so smooth. If you like IPA you are sure to enjoy this one! 🍻

I have a pretty sizable DVD and Blu-ray collection but when I came across these VHS they were classics and the condition was great so I had to snatch them up at that price. I love the PS3! It’s my favorite modern console and I have been collecting for it now for a while too. Appreciate the love brother! 🍻🤙🏻

Sometimes you get lucky. Just gotta keep hunting. I guess the cheap grabs like the GameCube games for $1 kinda offset the bigger purchases like Wolverine for the 360. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Super cool to have them either way. 🍻🤙🏻

Absolutely dude! Not too many games would I leave behind for $1 and definitely not GameCube games. The cases alone are worth grabbing. Definitely sweet being able to add the other Rush game to my N64 set. Getting down to the nitty gritty there. Under 50 to go. 🍻🤙🏻

Forget them! 😂 Oddball one-off items FTW!! GC for $1? All day baby! Detroit Become Human...ha ha, I'm a pro at that game. Got the main character killed and all. 😅 Wolverine Origins is so good, glad you scored it. Also, love me some 3D Dot Heroes. That's MY conundrum with 3DS games. So many titles I'd like to play but they're locked to that system...😢

I know some folks hate them but I always have felt like pickup videos are a cool way to share the hobby with the community. I don’t go out of my way to pick up VHS but some just beg to be grabbed. Especially cool classics in mint condition. I would grab most games for $1. I mean even the case is worth that for a swap out but finding any type of GC games for that price is a no brainer. Stoked to finally get Wolverine in the collection. When I look at my systems and the space I have the 3DS always looks like mine to love on from but your right. There is no other way to play those games. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Guess I just have to put an addition on the house. 😂

The price was definitely right with most of the games and items in this video. At .50 cents a piece these VHS tapes were in mint shape and I couldn’t leave them behind. I didn’t end up keeping any of the GameCube games but found great homes for them with some other folks who wanted them but I would love to find that kind of deal more often. 🍻🤙🏻

Rocking the VHS. I think we have a VCR somewhere. HAHA. The GI Joe game looks like a lot of fun. NES World Championship does look like fun. But I am not getting any S's! Die Hard and Robocop look like some fun IP games. Shoot em up on the NES is a score. I miss the DS and 3DS had a way to play on a TV. Too darn old for handhelds. Nice pickups!

Not a rabbit hole I plan to go down but a few VHS would be cool to have. I have a couple of VCR’s still stashed away so I may have to hook up to the CRT. I definitely wish the DS and 3DS cool hook up to a TV too. Rumors that the next Nintendo console will be duel screen so it’s a possibility they may be doing a lot of remasters next Gen. 🤷🏼‍♂️

No real bangers but some solid finds over a few months for sure. That hunt is part of the fun so I am pretty happy all in all. For the condition I had to grab these VHS tapes. Just really cool nostalgic display pieces really. Although I still have a couple VCR’s so it would be kinda cool doing some old school. The N64 had so many racing rules but I think the Rush titles along with Beetle Adventure Racing are a few of the best. Cheers buddy! 🍻🤙🏻

A man hard at work. I always enjoy finding games from that late 90s to mid PS3/360 era it feels like thrifting was years ago for cartridge based systems. you couldn't walk into a GW without seeing a mountain of games that no one at the time wanted. Since the store closure for the 360, the highlight on PS3 has moved away and prices have started to dip a bit too which is nice. Looking forward to see what next month brings!! Cheers bud!

I prefer hardly working. 😂 Thrifting has changed so much even over the last couple years. It used to be such a great way to find games and collectibles cheap. Now the big chain thrifts know how much more money they can make off these items and it’s hard to find a win. I still do ok at my local smaller thrifts at least but it’s definitely not like it was. I rarely find much at any flea market but got a little lucky this go round. I pickup things for both the 360 and the PS3 but just have more love for the latter. The 360 prices spiked and have come back down for a lot of games. The PS3 still seems pretty manageable for all but a small handful of games. If Sony decides to shut down that store though, who knows…🤷🏼‍♂️ Hope your week is going good bud. Let me know next time you may be traveling up this way again. Cheers! 🍻

Of course I approve highly of the PS3 acquisitions 👍 You can't not buy an Atlus game 💪 Bravely Default 2 is stellar 👌 I haven't picked up a 3DS yet, but I will for some games at some point 👍 The Yakuza franchise is possibly the finest complete series I've ever played. Don’t think I will ever stop grabbing things for it as long as they continue to come my way. I am anal about starting a series of games out of order. Dead to Rights Retribution is a lot of fun! I think it's the only one I've played through. It certainly wasn't realistic in any way, just pure schlock fun! One I'm happy to still have in my collection. New Luigi Bros U is a game Id like to own. Maybe one day I'll come across it at a good price! Those 3 vhs look rad. I would have done exactly the same. Sometimes pure schlock is the best in a game! 😂 It’s been highlighted on a lot of PS3 hidden gem lists so I figured it would be fun. I am not actively going for a full WiiU set but I tend to pick ones up I don’t have when I see them and this was a cool grab with Super Luigi U. Never gonna go wrong with first party Nintendo titles anyhow. I figured for such a cheap price and the condition of the VHS tapes it was a fun buy. Great to display! 🤙🏻🍻

You know i love those PS3 games - Red faction game i really enjoyed i think its a very underrated game - Ghost recon for the Gamecube love it! back when those games where good, Man the PS3 pick ups kept getting better LOTR Conquest is great and Silent Hill, Robocop for the Xbox is a gem from what i understand i am looking for that and Judge Dredd - Very Good pick ups Josh!

I knew you would appreciate the PS3 dude. It’s such a great system and still very collectible from a price point. I have over 350 games for it and I don’t think any I own are more expensive than $75-80. Most are under $20. All the Red Faction games are great! I do want to find that HD collection. That’s another thing about the system that is awesome. There are a ton of great collections on the system! I heard from another comment that the Robocop game is bad…I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet but it was one I had never seen before so I took a flier on it. Can never go wrong at $1 a game. That RoboCop is terrible. I really wanted to review it for the channel and destroy it but couldn't make it past the second level. Very cool cover but definitely a terrible game. It was made by the same team that made superman 64
