Custom method : 1. Build a 1x2x3 block on the left 2. Do EO 3. Build a 1x2x3 block on the right while preserving EO 4. Solve the Corners 5. Do the rest using M2 and U moves I like to call it *M2R* ( M2 Roux ) Edit: I just realized this is *really* similar to BEOBCE / Russo

@PersonCuber Жыл бұрын
I have a 3x3 method, it's not very good, but me and my friend are planning on making it better in the future, We call this, the belt method, the first step is to solve the belt, the second layer edges, next you get the edges into their respective layers, this can be done very intuitively, just by using M' U2 M, next is to get the corners into their layers, again, very intuitive, use sledge sledge sledge to switch 2 corners between layers, and now you solve last layer twice, fixing any corner twists with the beginner method, and edge swap parity, M' U M U' M' U2 M, and PLL parity with M2 U2 M2, will most definitely be changing things around, making it more efficient, but it's early stages

is this method good or trash? what do you think? 1. CPFB+1OC (corner permutation first block + 1 oriented corner) 2. EOSB (EOstripe + belt) (this step is completely and preserving the 1 oriented corner) 3. OL5C (orient last 5 corners) 4. F2L (with gen because that's what we reduced it to) 5. PLL

Nah, just keep at it bro. That was my same experience when first learning roux. All the tutorials seemed really confusing and bad. But eventually after so many of them, it finally clicked. Also maybe it’s easier to learn Roux after learning F2L techniques by learning CFOP

I'm pretty sure mine is either unique or super beginner Cross F2L Solve the top layer using these algorithms their mirrors and inverses (r and f refer to slice moves parallel to R and F from the perspective of the r or f face) There should be one edge that's solved with a corner that's in the right place if not the right orientation. Solve edges relative to that edge, and solve corners relative to that corner these need not be next to each other. Orient Edges 1 RBU'B'UR' will flip RU and LU and permute most of the top layer (I do this if I don't like the corners case and need to flip edges anyway and I'm still in F2L grip) Permute Edges RUR'URU2R'U2 permutes UR, UF, and UB, as well as BLU, FRU, and BRU with rotations (again I do this if I still don't like the corners case or I want to preserve LU LFU together and it lets me skip a PC or OC case later) Orient Edges 2 RrURU'r'URU'R' will flip UF and UR Permute UR, UF, and UB but leave everything else intact (This leaves a Permute Edges case only if all edges were correctly permuted beforehand) Permute Edges 2 R2Uf'U2fUR2 will permute UR, UF, and UB but leave everything else intact Permute Corners RBR'FRB'R'F' will permute FLU, FRU, and BRU corners without changing the edges (gets all the corners correct) Orient Corners RFR'F' or FRF'R' to orientate the FRU corner U to swap in the next corner and repeat as necessary (I do this last cause that's the way I've gotten the most oohs cause it's quick (basically the sexy) and hard to mess up) There are a few last-layer cases that I run into that I have to do a step twice but I'm more than fast enough for me, and I can set up or fix cases when I try to show my friends how to solve cubes the beginner way, I like OE2, PE2, PC and OC above because I can teach people to solve the entire cube with just those 4 algorithms
