i think it's more about a relationship that didn't go the way he (kele) wanted it to so now he's sleeping with meaningless people and every time he tricks himself into believing he (kele) actually has feelings for this person when in reality he doesn't which is why there is a "bitter taste" and why he has been "fooled again". so he realizes this and decides it's not what he wants to change his ways and continue his search for true love ("the search continues").
