Bloc party are my fave band and I think this is one of the best songs ever from possibly the best album ever. I love the rythmic guitar through the whole song and it runs through this song to kruezberg on the album. I really could listen to the album all day.

I can understand where your coming from. I used to feel slight boredom. But when it kicks into the solo, and 'I Love You In The Morning' That is just immense :D

Never knew Tong, had vocals aswell as Gordon and Kele, my fav band of all time, never forget the days of playing THAW (Tony Hawks American Wasteland) and listening to Like Eating Glass, at 7/8yrs old in 06' as tough as those times where, I always had that and My Family..blessings🙌

I never realised this track had both Matt and Gordon on drums, until I watched this. It's quite amazing - sounds a bit like Editors' Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors

Yea Gordy was multinstumental, unfortunately he was kicked out over his drug addiction. Then matt left after because he was growing bored
@bosyogurtlight2 жыл бұрын
@@scalderiso he may not be as well-remembered as Matt, but he was such a talented musician, not just bassist. Unfortunate to know about his drug addiction, but I think the band should've done more to help him instead of kicking him out
@scalderiso2 жыл бұрын
@@bosyogurtlight I agree . The new music just I dunno ain't the same without Matt and gordy new drummer is OK but she lacks compared to Matt's timing. Speed and intensity

@zCookiie Very well said, we are lucky enough to be alive when this band came out. Another great band which shouldn't be judged according to sexuality is Queen, and I admit that I am not lucky enough to enjoy their music while Freddie Mercury is still alive, I was born too late. Thanks, we still have Bloc Party.

It's kinda like you love somebody when they're good, bad, no matter what. Y'know, unconditional. The kind we see in movies, make fun of b/c we think it can't be real. But that many of us kinda wish we could find someone to love that way. And some rare few do find.

When exactly did he say he "probably won't return"? In his interview with BBC Subculture, he stated, "As for me, I don't know, I wouldn't mind trying something else for a while. We definitely need to have a break and gain a bit of perspective on life outside of the band. Hopefully if we do reconvene at some point in the future we'll be refreshed and have so many ideas to bring to what it is we do." Not sure how that equates to "probably won't be coming back."
