The AI reminds me of the crazy story teller in Rimworld (good game if you haven’t played it). Things go from zero to hero pretty quick, and other times you might go through half a set with nothing in it. Keeps the pucker factor up.

Amazing. In my opinion, perfect blocks should be as easy to get as perfect parries. And maxed out adrenaline should make your attack faster and unstaggerable. That would make block weapons as good as parry ones.

Perfect block shouldnt last for 660ms. That would totally ruin the skill expression block weapons allow us to have.

No bruh parry weapons are boring cause it's impossible to miss parries in this game, if block weapons were as forgiving as fencing parries the game would be a joke. Also block weapons are already better than fencing weapons they just take more skill to use

the second and third hit are the closest together that your inputs need to be a little tighter, the 4th one is a bit delayed

@@FirstTourGuardsman Thanks! Another question if you don't mind. When performing a charged attack and a perfect dodge indicator appears right in the middle of the swing, I can't dodge. Do you have a way of handling that? Is there a way to animation cancel the attack to be able to dodge, or is it unavoidable?

You can animation cancel anything with the parry button, sometimes this isn't fast enough to dodge an unblockable unless you're the bulwark because he has access to an instant animation cancel by briefly holding block with his shield.

@ true about gun strikes! I should try block again. It felt awkward to me, and the interrupt from parry felt like it gives me some breathing room facing multiple dudes. Probably just have to get used to it.

you can play this game any way you want and it's your own choice, plus, you solo anyway. however advocating unnecessary nerfs on weapons is the same way as eliminating supercar options for all human race and forcing everyone to stick to daily Toyota Prius. you've been a skillful player and i think you can comprehend this easy concept.

When you have a build so overpowered that it makes the game a cutscene for your teammates it becomes toxic for a game's health and the devs obviously agree, which is why the nade launcher is getting a nerf/rework and is specifically mentioned in their patch notes. I also don't only play solo and I'm far from the only person who thinks the grenade launcher is a complete outlier for the intended game balance. The developers have the actual metrics we can't see and they know when something is dramatically overperforming vs when players are exaggerating it's impact. People play lethal for extra challenge and not everyone wants a grenade launcher spammer to come in and solo clear the mission for them with zero effort, many players outright leave when they have to play with a nade launcher build on their team. Surely you can understand why it's a bad thing for a game's health if players are leaving matches because ONE build makes an entire team completely redundant. Your supercar analogy has absolutely nothing to do with the issue, you aren't potentially force paired with a Lamborghini and then told to get out of your vehicle and into theirs because your car is suddenly worthless every time you go out.

This confused me because I thought you were on about Assault. If this is actually about tac nade launcher then unfortunately get good. Why should nade launcher have no self damage when every other explosion does? Why should they 2-3 hit virtually everything besides terminus?

I am completely baffled. How? Why? Why is anyone still playing this abysmal game? I'm a huge 40k fan. I build, paint, and play tabletop. But this is just left 4 dead with a 40k skin. It's horrible. Nothing new. Nothing innovative. It's the exact same game I've been playing since since PS2 days just with a different skin.
