I've told these stories many times before, but when i got a Gameboy in the 90's for christmas my mum (who had no interest in games) became so obsessed with it she went into labour with my lil sister and took my gameboy and played Tetris the entire birth. Then a year later when i got a Mega CD it had columns and my parents both became so obsessed with it they, and this is 100% true, forgot to pick me up from school when we returned from the holidays. I had to walk 5 miles on a route i didn't really know home just to find them on the Mega CD...i'm not a big fan of my parents.
