I adore having little leitmotif here and there. I wanted to mainly focus on nico's nextbot melody. I know, it might juat be a funny reference from his own game but its more interesting if you interpreted differently. Nico's nextbot as a game, it's about surviving from the so called "nextbot" entity. And what happens if you dont run from them? Death. Anywhere you go you felt unease, as those things can be lurking in your way. No matter how hard you try, you only save more time before the impending doom. This provoke a fear of death to some extent, and how hopeless the situation are. This is fitting with the FEAR in blocktales, it warns you about HATRED but that still let to you killing it. Hence, the usage of the leitmotif.

i'm assuming the song as a whole is inspired by the omori phobia themes at 500% speed, with some parts being much more akin to them, such as the part between forest world and ??? reminding me of acrophobia, and the song overall kind of reminding me of thalasophobia also i'm not insane in assuming that part was heavily inspired by/is that song!!!! (the ??? part)

i think the amalgam sample is the result of block tales using the earthbound soundfont, since the earthbound soundfont is also used in other tracks, i don't think it samples undertale

Or something like that I also organized the lines a bit like lyrics since that's what they said they were
