Another day another game comes to be judged thusly by the Royal Court. Blockbuster Inc. is a simulation game where you take on the role of a production company in this worlds version of Hollywood. Make your own movies and watch the magic on the big screen...literally. So is it worth our time and precious coin? Well let's find out together!

Doesn't look as good as The Movies which is currently still available for free as abandoneare and plays perfectly on Windows 10 or 11. The Movies has actors & directors with personality flaws, needs & addictions. It pits you against other studios all aiming for success, and there are annual awards (Oscars) where your movies are in competition with rivals. This game, though it looks okay, seems lacking in comparison tbh.

Thank you for testing it! Is it a EA title or full released? For me, a game like this will have a very hard time because I played ‘The Movies’, which was a masterpiece. I know there isn't a big development team behind it, but for me that doesn't matter when I'm playing. The only thing that matters to me is the quality of the game and its price.

@MIAh: why do you don't compare remakes linke this, with its original like "The Movies"? A neutreal and in depth comparison withe detailes to pros and contas from each of the one? This could be also a new additionally format for you! ...because there are not only a lot of remakes out, also more are coming all the way long. And thanks to gog many of the origionals are still playable. 😉

@@Kamaling Hey thanks! I appreciate the comments. I do normally tend to do that however I never played "The Movies" So i couldn't properly compare the two. And besides, despite whether I did that or not I would still have to judge this game on its own merits regardless. But sometimes I do reference and compare to other games. Also it was released NOT in early access. Thanks again for another comment :)
