Hi there Martin, I was recently a help desk techincian and I am looking to get into a crypto company. I am not very techincal but have amazing people skills and love working with people. Any ideas on how I could fit into the industry?

If you're not adding skills and knowledge, you're standing still. Don't do that. Keep moving! 😜

Hi Martin, thank you for your content. I’m an early career IT professional who is looking to break into Blockchain/Fintech at a BB. I have almost completed the DeFi course by Duke U, and plan on completing additional certs like Financial Markets by Yale, and Risk Management by NYIF. Do you think these three certs combined with my ITIL cert will make me a competitive candidate? I also subbed! 🤝

Hi Sonam - yes absolutely. That's a great course combo and will help beef up your resume!! Thanks for watching and following 🙏

Hi Martin, I have no experience related to fintech, finance, or coding. I don’t have a bachelors degree either. Would you still recommend a Fintech boot camp for someone in my situation? Thanks so much!
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely - a lot of these courses take you from zero to a very good level so yeah, I do recommend these even if you have no experience in the field. Good luck!!

Hey Martin! I was looking to coursera today and three of the courses you suggested were under my radar (ehat a coinsidence). My background is finance and doing insurace now. Do you suggest to learn blockchain course first? I was thinking to take Defi from Duke, Fintech Foundations from Wharton and Blockchain from Buffalo. Please let me know what you think or another "combo" that you would suggest. Thanks for doing this video.
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hello, Esteban. Great background to expand from - I honestly think it doesn't matter where you start and the combo sounds really good. They all ultimately intersect at certain points, but the names and quality behind these courses are a wonderful combination. Please let me know how you like them!!

How come you decided not to add the blockchain Udacity course? do you feel its not as good anymore? I was thinking of enrolling in it
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hello, I do think it's a great course. But simply wanted to focus on a few other courses that I haven't talked about yet and not repeat myself. There is a lot of great material out there in terms of these courses. And the Udacity course is one of them. If you decide to take it, please let me know what you think.
@JukesTheGreat2 жыл бұрын
@@martinzeman89 Thank you for the fast response, I'm thinking of enrolling in it in the next few days and aim to finish it in 2-3 months of hard work. If I take this course of action I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts ! thank you Martin

Good day Martin, new viewer here. Previously you had a Udacity program called Blockchain Developer Nanodegree. Do you no longer recommend this program?

Hi Je'Marco - I do, that nano degree is great. Have you taken it?

So which course out of all is the best if I want to learn about the "blockchain" from the very core of it.
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hey Naveen - have you tried any of them yet? They are all a bit different and really depends which direction you're going. The descriptions are pretty accurate though... let me know if you tried any so far pls.
@huoyuhao26642 жыл бұрын
@@martinzeman89 I did, took from coursera, have to say that I am not happy, the course is old very, not updated and it's not deep enough (if that's what u are looking for), but it's good for getting some understanding. And Blockchain council? They use machine generated voice which reads the text , no human. I don't think you'll get any good course deep and good enough about block chain at least around 2 years. So just go with Udemy and KZbin. But if certificate is what u r looking for, then Blockchain council is better( but they have high price, lost confidence in quality after knowing that it's only machine talking, no human)

your video's are really helpful for getting the latest defi info. I really ppreciate the time you put in to make quality video's. I decided to start up my own using your channel as an inspiration, but with a focus on Tezo projects.

Hi Martin, Im a first year engineering student interested in some of these courses. where would u suggest I start?
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hello Jacob - I think the two best places to start are the Duke University course and one of the INSEAD courses: Decentralized Finance (DeFi) by Duke University - bit.ly/3sf6JZW Blockchain Revolution by INSEAD - bit.ly/3eXB8Fw Blockchain Revolution in Financial Services by INSEAD - bit.ly/3thaL2x Let me know how you like them! Hey Martin. I just finished My DeFi course by your suggestion. And I found there is mastertrack for blockchain, Also offered by Duke univ. Do you think this course reaaaally worth 2,850$? I am busniness major students who wants to get a job in blockchain scene.
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hey - I don't know this master track, but $2850 is quite a bit pricey. I think you'll get more value in attending a variety of other courses that are all much cheaper and give you a variety of instructors and sources. Most of the courses I talk about are less than $100...

Hi Martin ,very informative which I thank you for it, can we do all of the courses you mention under BEST Blockchain, DeFi, FinTech COURSES 👇: where I have literally little to no knowledge but I love crypto with no finance work background, just wanted to know that if I take all of this courses, will any finance or crypto business will take me in for work?
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hello - yes that's the idea. A lot of these courses are designed to give your resume the boost you need to open the doors to these jobs. Some of the stuff will clearly be challenging with no finance background, but a lot of these courses are complementary so if you end up taking 2-3, you should at that point have a real good grasp and skills needed to get hired. Good luck 🍀

Hi are these courses free?
@martinzeman892 жыл бұрын
Hi Rishabh - a lot of them are and you can get a free trial. Payment typically required if you want to have a shareable certificate that you can advertise - but given the quality, it's still really cheap.
