@@RobertRoberts329 You CAN buy "septic safe" and disintegrating wet wipes that won't clog pipes because they break relatively quickly upon exposure to water. The problem is most people are too stupid to know the difference, or just too cheap, so when they need wet asswipes, they just use baby wipes or run of the mill wet wipes. You'd think it woild be pretty easy to figure out, considering most stores put the toilet safe ones in the same aisle as/adjacent to the toilet paper, and the non flushable ones in a completely different aisle. But again, most people are stupid.

Why do you twist the hose before putting it down does it do something to how the water comes out?

AVIONN2 with the pressure of the water inside, the hose can act more like a solid heavy gauge wire. Twisting it can either help the end of the hose rotate around obstacles in the pipe, and/or also help get a better grip while shoving/pulling it around.

I'm always very skeptical about connectors and the like failing, because I've got shite for luck. I noticed how quickly you switched tips on that jet dealie, implying it's a quick connect type system, probably the same or similar to what you'd see on air lines and tools, like pneumatic nail guns or impact drivers. This begs the question... Do you lose tips frequently when the thing is 20 feet down a pipe and you have to do the all too familiar push-pull technique(that was much worse with the old spinning steel roto-rooter style machines, but still needed) that comes with drain rodding? If not, how? Because if that was me I'm pretty sure I'd be buying a couple hundred a year.
