The episode where Saxon gave you the Scary Monster Penetrator is episode 261. I recently started watching and have been having a blast watching each one. I have to be careful with the flashing lights or when the camera spins around a lot, due to having issues with seizures. I really enjoy seeing the water and roots get cleared out. I hope you, the team, and your family are all doing well and stay safe.

Love the PPE footwear 6:40 A 10mm straight rod with a self tapping screw attached at the end then the other end attached to a drill would allow you to drill into the bottle with the screw then just yank it out. I did something similar just the other day with one of the additional switch slots. I couldn't get it out with the flat tip so drilled into it and pulled it straight out with the drill. A cheap dodgy one would be some PVC pipe (maybe 30 mm), cut some wood out with a jig saw / hole saw (30 mm), drill through the wood then put a self tapping screw (glued in so it sticks 20 - 30 mm out the end. Glue the rounded wood into the PVC and screw in from the side to reinforce it. On the other end drill a hole cross ways to mount a screw driver / dowel (like a tap handle) for screwing it in and put something on the end so you can push down while twisting. After that, just put it down, drill it in with rotating and pushing at the same time then just rip it out.

I could possibly see a child putting toys down a drain such as a toilet especially playing in the bathroom, but those bottles were purely intended to wreak havoc with the home owners. Here in the US the majority of household pipes are standard 2 inch pipes and wouldn't "take" those bottles. So glad you could help as always. You are a jewel.

Need to get you the long claw. What we old sewer men used to use back in the old days. It's a great big old long two prong claw. You can even get them with three prongs. You can't get them where you at. Have a local welder make one for you. I still have mine now that I'm retired I use it around a house. It's kind of like those plastic ones you see in the medical places. Sep is three times as long and made out of metal. I think that's probably where they got the idea from.

I'm the reverse. We had leaks from the upstairs shower in our rent house (we're the renters). I located the leak, replaced the valve, recaulked the drain (badly installed, and was the true leak), and re-sealed the shower stall. Also repaired cracked toilet and patched ceiling after spraying antifungal into the joist space - had been there LONG before we rented. Didn't demand the landlord do any of it - just buy the toilet. Didn't want his workers stomping through the house. Unfortunately, when we leave, he'll have to have it professionally worked on - we figured out that the odour in the house when we moved it is bats. My wife locked herself out of the house one night and they saw them coming out, and we've verified since then.

...but rent is too high, those landlords are printing money off of their tenants. That's what I always hear from people. Friend of mine in Germany needed almost 2 years to get rid of the tenants that were refusing to pay. TWO YEARS. When they left they totally destroyed the place. It cost him nearly 120K EU to get it liveable. So 2 years of NO INCOME from the rental, 120K EU in repairs, paying the magistrate fees. Yea...he's pretty much done. He said this was super common where he is. Here in the US we see this too. I know people that have had to pay the people to leave, just so he could get the place back to rent out to somebody that would pay. All these "laws" to protect the renter are causing those high rents. In the end, ONE renter could cause multiple renters to pay even more. Wish people would just respect the place, but unfortunately this isn't the case.
@tbelding
@tbelding Жыл бұрын
Our rent has gone up 25% in the last year, and if we stayed, it would go up another 25%. - Oh, and the owner has only had to pay for 1 toilet (I put it in, was cracked when we move in) and clearing the roof vent of the dryer (on top of a 2 story house, poor layout of the laundry area), in 3 years. I'm the one that gets harrassed by the 'property management' company for stupid stuff (frost damaged plants, trying to demand I pull them out and plant new ones rather than wait for them to recover. Even the president of the HOA is fed up with the turkey.).
@WreckDiver99
@WreckDiver99 Жыл бұрын
@Troy Belding ...and the insurance he holds has gone up. If he owns say 4 or 5 properties, and one is destroyed, you are paying to offset that cost. Ive seen it multiple times. YOU may be a good tennant, but others are not. As for prperty upkeep? That is usually pretty standard when renting a home....the tennent is responsible for the landscape upkeep. At least in my area it is. Some are managed by companies, but those costs have skyrocketed too. Property management companies have increased their "cut", some 10%+, add to that insurance going up 20% and other ancillary costs to the landlord and yes. Your costs go up as well. I rented in University. And i rented for 6 months while my home was being built. All that money,.and zero to show for it in the end. Best investment i made was buying my first home, and then building my 2nd.
@tbelding
@tbelding Жыл бұрын
@@WreckDiver99 - who mentioned the property upkeep? I do that too. I've been doing structural repairs, rather than throw that cost onto the landlord, simply because I wanted it done NOW, and correctly. The repairs the landlord will have to do when we move out in two months? That's almost entirely because of the bats in the attic, that even his house painters failed to notice. He can't do anything about them until August, due to Texas restrictions on 'harming' bats during their breeding season. Even our two month lease extension before moving is doing him a favour, (income while he waits for that time period to start) although he was VERY begrudging about that. When we leave? He's raising the next person's rents even higher.

Imagine the "parent" that would take their child's toys just so they can try and block a drain out of spite. They are probably thinking if they get caught they can blame their children. How terrible you have to be as a parent to not only steal from your kids, try and destroy another persons property, then throw your own children under the bus for what you have done.

@@tbelding Not here Troy, the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and the government protect rental home owners from bad tenants. Prospective tenants have to pay bond which is equal to 4 weeks rent in advance, provide payslips to show ability to pay the rent, references and must have no black marks against them to get a rental property.The home is regularly inspected for condition and if anything is damaged the tenant has to pay for repairs which are inspected after. When lease is up good tenants are offered another lease, if not, they are given a move out notice. If the property is in the same condition as at start of lease, the bond is returned. The rental home owner is also required to keep the house in a good state of repair and things quickly fixed when reported by tenants. In the past too many bad tenants wrecked homes which is why things are the way they are now.
