Yet another good video and clean drain. People dont realize it's easier to clean up when you can clear blockage without jetter first then clean pipe after it's taking water... Here we have to work from basements mostly so... only use jetter when it's a sludge line and cant clear it with a snake.. Appreciate your efforts showing us how you clean sewers in your are of the world...

It is interesting seeing how different tradesmen do the same job around the world in different conditions, be they equipment, conditions, pipe layout or differing installation techniques. It’s also frustrating seeing people criticise based on work done on another continent. I was also sceptical until this occurred to me watching Post 10 channel, clearing drains and culverts as a public service/ channel content/ community good egg. 👍🏻

This is why I mentioned it I seen other people criticize when they dont have any idea of what the job entails... people have to realize that these are the people who have experience dealing with way these drains are plumbed in... The jetter is not the end all when it comes to drains... its messy, its noisy.. and it can be very dangerous to operate in certain scenarios

I do this in Idaho , only I use machines with different cutter blades. It's a nasty job, wish I could share a video of how I do it.

I like it when the ‘posh telephone voice’ comes into play, when asking the customers to flush their toilet, very professional 👍 Funny old game. I’ve seen it work the other way too when the middle class try talking to the workers on their level. Of course, both sides see straight through this charade, but it’s a sign of respect offered both ways, none the less. Always amuses me. The social classes, alive and well. 😁

I half-expected pulling the root would clear the blockage, given the branch running towards the downstream under tension. Was hoping as you pulled it, it would just keep coming and coming for a couple of meters.

I'm shocked at the amount of clean-outs there are on all the jobs you do...and you use every one of them! Nice job!

Where I work doing this in the states, so many places dont even have One cleanout ugh. Lugging a 250# machine down then back up stairs to a basement is a 🤬🤬 job lol. Thankfully if I have to pull a toilet , 90% of them are on the first floor

@@brianshawcroft7081 Where I work every dwelling has its own dedicated line and it goes out to a main in the street. The only cleanout that is available is the one that is just inside the foundation wall of the dwelling..which I don't necessarily think is a good idea because if there is a back-up all the mess will end up inside the house...

Could be fat. Fat hardens and becomes hard and rock like in the drain. So wipe the fat and grease off plates, pots and pans with a paper towel and throw it in the bin before washing up!

If your pipes clog from soap powder, which is WATER SOLUBLE.... maybe switch to liquid? I’m no plumber, but that’s common sense

And there comes the wet wipes..... (I was half expecting some Q-tips and tampons too). If only people would learn that the only things that “belong” in a toilet is what comes out of our bodies and the toilet paper we use to clean with afterwards.
@putteefterpappa37794 жыл бұрын
Why do you guys use the plunger? You always jet the drain afterwards.. ( my point, use jet only, blockage solved and the drains get a good cleaning ) Anyways job well done..happy customer, money in the bank and so on...👍keep it up
@brianshawcroft70814 жыл бұрын
Plunger is cheaper that jeting I'm sure, if I auger a toilet its 108$ if I have to pull the toilet and use my machine its 178$. Sometimes it's about saving the customer money.
@putteefterpappa37794 жыл бұрын
@@brianshawcroft7081 Agreed! But why plunge and jet then.. i mean it is not necessary then.. just jet.. just use the plunger has it downsides, sure. I use the plunger for clogged toilets and sinks etc.. sewerlines usually ends up with fatclogs after a blockage. so jetting is needed. Just a thought!
