In Australia carp are listed as pest. Not allowed to return to water, if caught get fined. Nobody eats them they are awful to eat. Saying goes heat bricks ,put carp on to cook. When ready through carp away and eat brick.

Best way to prepare carp. Place the carp between two pieces of hickory or oak, wrap in tinfoil and place in the fire. Foil not necessary in a grill. Make sure to put lemon juice, salt, pepper or any preferred seasonings. Let it sit a little longer than you would other fish to help with toughness. Remove from heat, unwrap if in foil, discard the carp and enjoy eating the wood. It will taste a lot better than the carp. And you might even be able to chew the wood.

I think you should have practiced with that bow a little longer at least until you were a lot more comfortable and your accuracy improved. I honestly believe when you shoot, you eat. You thought something was wrong with this carp before you shot it. You threw it on the fire and didn't eat it. You should at least cleaned it to see.

If you’re a true hunter or whatever you’re shilling right now then you should know it’s a carp and it’s invasive, literally just an oversized cockroach except worse, who cares if he didn’t eat it there’s literally 50 more around the corner guaranteed, if every person who killed a carp was obligated to eat it then we’d be putting less of a dent in their population than we already are. Hell carp are so bad and invasive that several states have made it ILLEGAL to put them back in the water if you catch one. They’re also the only fish you’re allowed to spear or bowfish for in several states that’s literally why he asked if they had seen any carp. They also taste like ass unless you cook them a certain way
