I have a 19 ninja 650 with a two bros I know it's overused but damn that exhaust sounds so good. everyone rags on the 650 for sounding like a lawnmower but I love it. also if there are any wheelie boys out there wondering how to clutch up a 650 go 28 mph in second gear and let her eat she comes right up

Thanks for video. It was easier to do it :D And if someone preparing for this change: 1. No need to unplug the o2 sensor 2. You can deinstall only left cover, to unscrew the old exhaust. Every thing you need is to place the ring spanner behind the right cover to hold the nut.

Great thorough walkthough! Although you guys pulled the rearsets unnecessarily. If you undo the bolt holding the shift lever in place and move the lever out of the way, there's a hole in the rearset plate that you can use to remove the exhaust bolt without any more disassembly. I put an Akrapovic full system on my (identical Grey 2018) 650 this past weekend and did just that. May save others some time, not that learning to disassemble other parts of your bike are ever a waste of time :)

I've had Delkevic on my 2015 Ninja 650 since 2016. I probably have around 8k miles on it and haven't had any issues. Still looking and sounding good. Good video.

I got used to taking the fairings off it's a 5 minute job that makes life 100 times easier. Also them tail bags slide and come loose, if you tighten the straps and self tap small screws into the underneath in of the seat through all 4 tightening straps the tail bag stays rigid and doesn't shift or move.

Been doing a lot of research for the right exhaust. i heard that with a delkevic you dont need to do a ECU flash. Did you do it with this bike?

Got a Delkevic on my old school 82 KZ750. Major diff in sound and lost about 25lbs of weight. The stock exhaust was a boat anchor.. lol

I wanted to do an exhaust on my 2012 650 but pretty much nothing will prevent it from sounding like a scooter. I've had delkavic on my fjr1300 which sounded amazing but this sounds kinda like a mix between my 150cc scooter and 600cc silverwing which the silvering had delkavic and the 150cc had an Amazon setup. Amazing bike the 650 though I love mine.

I was told by the guy who was gonna install my delkevic that he recommends an ECU flash first otherwise it could mess up the engine and won’t run right. He also said it needs a compatible air filter with the delkevic before the flash. Anybody some input on this or know what air filter is best?

Nope.. The default exhaust has better sound.. Try Akrapovic, I think these exhausts are one of the best on these types bikes.. ;)
