@@LJsGarage - I'm going out tomorrow to buy the 2020. I don't think it needs the resistor since everything is LED to start with. Plan on getting all the toys... Touring screen, rear luggage rack and case with passenger backrest. I'll order those and have them delivered to the house. Put them on myself. Hey, do you know if you have to replace the entire exhaust or does it accept a slip-on? Also plan to replace the front suspension with Race Tec innards. Maybe even find lower bars (later).

My bad. The turn signals are regular bulbs. Had to buy the relay but DAMN, these guys ship FAST! Literally 1 day if you order in the morning. Guess it helps that they're in Florida too. One thing that baffles me is - Why is there a center hole with screw and bolt on the cover plate?? It serves no purpose and they don't explain it! BTW, last week I bought the 2020 Ninja 650 KRT- ABS. Did the tail tidy first but when I purchased the bike I also bought the factory touring windscreen, the top case rack, box, and backrest with the black color insert (green was out of stock). I also bought the rear spools from the TST website. Next up, some adjustable levers. I appreciate Kawasaki giving the rider both adjustable levers but why are they chrome and not black. It's just out of place with the rest of the bike so I'll get the matching gold levers on the TST website (rear spools are gold). Bike is more comfortable than my 2011 Ninja 1000 (my trade-in). Touring windscreen still needs a deflector. Front suspension, well, I might swap out the innards with Race Tec. Rear feels fine. I'm 180#, 6'2". The new Dunlop tires on the 2020 I have fallen in love with. Like riding a much bigger, more planted bike. At the same time though I think the front is a bit too wide and I'll be trying out one size thinner perhaps. That will definitely help the bike lean over faster.

It's a nice tail tidy. Took me about an hour on my 2020 Ninja 1000. Adjusted the relay to go a bit slower but it still starts with a couple fast flashes before the regulator kicks in. It was between this or the Vagabond tail tidy. I think either is the way to go since both are just plug and play. Vagabond used stock turn signals. Nice video. I'd like to see you replace the air filter! No one does a good job of it so far. Put a Hindle Megaphone exhaust on mine. HOLY CRAP! IT'S LOUD! I actually bought the suppressor! Highly recommend the Hindle Megaphone. They also have a couple other muffler choices, but OMG! Priced like $300 less than the competition but it is very high quality.

I watch your vids on the ninja 650. I just bought my 2019 black mettalic ninja! It was new with 1 mile. I had the 2019 and the 2020 green krt. I chose the 2019. It looks better imho and it was 1500 cheaper. Not to mention i like the dash better on the 2019. Dont like the tft.

Some states have legal requirements for the reflectors on the rear fender as well as a rear licence plate light. Is your state does this would make the tail tidy illegal. Based on your jurisdiction and local law enforcement, this could get you extra violations for any infraction if they decide to enforce it. Just food for thought for those who watch this great video and considering this option.

@@LJsGarage the Yoshimura fender eliminator is legal in my state since it comes with an LED license plate light and you can mount little reflectors over the place fasteners. They're not all illegal.

That's a great question. Tst lists their kits and everything compatible with the 19&20 and use the same directions so it seems to be the same.
