So what all needs to be fabricated to mount the M60 and the E39 trans into a E30?

+Ghos7N54 Sorry for the slow response. Garagistic has all the parts to bolt the M60 and 6speed right in. The only part you have to fab yourself is modding the shifter, welding the extensions to the trans x-member, and build the exhaust system. Feel free to ask more questions.

So to clarify you have oil line running from the block to filter housing, filter housing to cooler, cooler back to the block???? just trying to set this system up at the moment.

+wyzeupnz Exactly, but be careful I think there's a check valve of sorts in the housing. on first start up it built enough pressure to blow the cooler. So currently I'm without a cooler.

I have a question about the shifter arm you modified to fit. I'm doing a swap with the same engine and transmission you guys used. Did you use the stock shifter arm from the 6 speed? Any insight would help

+Ryan Peachey Yea, I used the shifter from the six speed. Just cut it, weld it, and you're done.
