I remember when I was in grade 4 elementary school.in San Fabian Pangasinan.it was1978 we walked every day from home to school.every morning there is one old man about 60 or 65 years of ages.and we always keep joke with him.because every morning we encountered him in same derection where our school are.and we notice he have this stick always with his bag.and we asked him about it.and he told this is used for arnis and if you want to learn I will teach you.but we afraid to hit by the stick.because when he showed us the demo he did it's made us afraid.becauses when he strikes with the banana tree it's so hurible.when he holds his stick you cannot tell that he is an old man.his griefs is so strong.so when I watch this video I'm so sorry to myself, why I don't grab the opportunity.this filipino martial arts don't need any ages limit or gender.and how your body looks.t.y.for reading.

I remember when I was 6 and when we went to Badiangan in Iloilo (it's just jungle) to visit my mum's side, and my Lolo a farmer tried to teach me Balintawak, and I didn't take to it much as I was more interested in the Bamboo Cannon an the raw gunpowder fireworks. Now 35yrs later I wish I could of been taught more but only got 4yrs worth of what he knew with him being a Ingkong Tuhon learning that he only had 4 students through his entire life.

Your execution of the technique with the capture of the attacking opponent's hand and the subsequent counterattack was performed with gross errors. Why did you decide that after you captured the hand, the enemy would stand and wait for your counterattacking actions? At this moment, he can also attack you, for example, with a kick. And it all comes down to which one of you is faster. Why did you decide that it would be you? You have lost all your advantage. Very bad technique. The reason is that you do not understand how to load the body of the enemy so that he cannot counterattack you after you capture, and thus you will develop your advantage. This is a typical Filipino styles system error.
