This is a fairly long video in which I cover the making of a menu and view system for the M5StickC (Plus).
UIFLow (mM5StickC Plus) file for MenuDemo: drive.google.c...
UIFlow (M5StickC) file for WorldClock, an app with 2 level menu system: drive.google.c...

This looks like an amazing way to program. I have an m5stick plus2 in the mail and this video is making me excited.

Keep on making videos for the M5Stack, would love to see how to connect multible units to the A port :)

Men thanks you're awesome ! It's a very good video. I just barely know some C programming and not being able to use an if condition like "if button A was pressed then do something" directly was kinda confusing me before, but now its very clear. Unfortunately the preview mess is an annoying limitation but we have to live with it :) Thank you very much again. If you need more video ideas I have suggestions (more questions of course :D) !

Just let me know. I figure anything you might ask could be something my students would also want at some point. You can also switch to python after you get it started in blocky and make much cleaner code. Finally you can also program the M5StickC with the arduino environment in C; so you can totally skip Blockly altogether if you want.

@@cramitdfrog69 That is good to know although since I never studied phyton using blockly is much more simple but its also something new. But what I wanted to know is maybe a bit specific, its how to configure a button (it's an end stop). Not the m5 unit, a button that you want to connect directly using wires to the ESP32. I don't know what is SDA or SCL and did not find how to connect neither how to initialize the pins properly yet. Another one is how to save the value of variables after you turn off the device. Thanks for your help

@@raquelbarras3625 Hooking up a button or switch to the Digital IO isn't something I've done yet (I play with that some point soon, but I have some Onshape videos for my robotics class first, and a Shaper Onshape project to work on as well) As for saving to the device you can use the download button to save the app to the M5StickC. I am not sure variables are persistent after reboot though. What is your project, if you don't mind me asking?

@@cramitdfrog69 Sure. This project is for a machine that applies a certain force to a sample, its controlled by a step motor that push and pull a platform against the sample. The amount of force is another question and will be controlled externally, but with the m5stack i want to make possible for the user to program the starting and ending point of the movement, the speed/frequency and the number of cycles applied. The samples are triboelectric generators that i should create in my phd. So the menu is for the user being able to choose all that options, the endstop is for reference and for security and the saving values is for the program to be memorized eventually.

When I saw you drag that logic block over the constant value for the y coordinate, I knew there was going to be a problem. And then you made the same mistake with the debug message.

I don't think I'll ever be convinced to code with mouse clicks instead of my keyboard again. Visual no-code builders have been terrible in my experience.

Hopefully UI Flow isn't quite so buggy after 3 years. Yikes.
