Hello. There are a lot of interesting options to choose from now. Download M5Burner from M5Stack.com, under software, developer tools. I just did recently and there are an amazing number of options. I covered this a while back in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJy0dnZ9bbCXb80

i installed m5burner and im not seeing any of the firmware pop up on the screen it stays blank on the main screen, tried logging on and nothing... only thing that works for me is esphome for some reason. using a core 2

Hello. M5Burner doesn't really install on a PC. I just download the zip file and copy all the contents of the zip to a folder named M5Burner. So you have the executable and two folders named 'bin' and 'packages' inside the folder. I just tested this now and it works as expected. I can see all the optional packages to install. Thanks.

Hello. Have you installed the driver? Go to www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers?tab=downloads I used the "CP210x Windows Drivers" for my PC and it worked fine just now.

It sounds like you don't have a complete installation. I download M5Burner from the M5Stack website and it is a Zip file. All of the contents of that file need to be copied to your hard drive. (M5Burner.exe, Bin and Packages folders). Properties of my M5Burner folder are 205 Files, 27 Folders, 320 MB (336,422,574 bytes). Is that what you are seeing?

When I try to run the burner, it does not connect.

If it starts up and goes into app mode, you won't be able to connect. (Running current program). I was just strggling with the ATOM Lite this week, same thing only no screen on it to tell you what's up. See if you can get into menu right after powering on? If you still have trouble let me know and I will try here. Working on Heltec video right now so mind is on other things.

Should be virtually the same to get going in UIFlow. Both M5Burner and UIFlow have a separate selection for Core2. Thanks.

@@ShotokuTech Is it normal that the touch buttons on the bottom do not work for me? i can't move in the ui graphical interface in the core, the touch buttons are not responding

I don't have a Core 2 so I am not familiar with what the UI is out of the box. So you are saying there is a UI to navigate and ABC buttons do not respond? Does not sound right to me. Core basic has a default UI that just has a button test at the end where you press each button then test is done. No UI to navigate. You may want to contact M5Stack on this if it is not right.
