I think the reason they liked this type of stuff when they were younger is due to the artstyle. The cute drawings, the characters and the overall fantasies coming to life shit. As children, we tend to look past these things, we don't understand them. I'm sure the people who say that understand how terrible it was. But sometimes nostalgia sticks with us. I never really participated in any of the shipping. When I was little I just found stuff like PJ's Daycare as cute, now I know the context and personally...It's disgusting. The only thing I like about the comic now isn't the story nor the creator, just the character designs. Even though I like character designs that look badass, not cute or shit but, yeah. I was sadly, someone that enjoyed PJ's daycare. I had access at a very young age, to KZbin or the internet in general, without any supervision... Leading me to see, read, watch, stuff like this, and I tought it was normal because it was accessable easely online, so I tought it was obviously "legal and fine". The art style, the voices, where nice, even if i couldn't understand the whole thing, seeing others supporting those comics made me feel like it was safe, okay, and something to value on later. I was probably in 5th grade when I found her works. It was during a bad time where I had just found out about nsfw because of my classmate, and finding this probably made it worse. I'm 15 now, and have only begun to realize how much I normalized it and became okay with those stuff. I'm trying to change my thinking and become normal. I'm tired of feeling shame and disgusted of myself for thinking these thoughts. Its something I can never tell my parents ever. I developed DID from possibly being SA’d at a very very tongue age. Comics like rogues made me think it was normal no matter how bad I felt and no matter how much I just wanted to help those who were groped like that wanting to just remove them from the comic and hug them but the asks and comics said it was normal and it was true love so I just pushed down these thoughts till even I myself started to like those parts of the comics.
