I want to pick one reverb setting and turn it on and off during a particular part of a stream. Your demo showed pressing the reverb button cycles through each setting which is not what I need. How do you just enable the reverb setting of choice, say ‘Hall’ then turn Hall off then back on again when needed without cycling through all the other reverb settings?
@blogwithben6 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks for watching! Hmmmmm I'm not sure off the top of my head. You could cycle through the settings during "words". That way the reverb would only work on certain words you are speaking. That's the only way I can think of without editing the sound in a DAW after the stream.

Ok I used the reverb to live stream on Facebook for singing but after I finished, I noticed that that reverb was never added to the live video …listening to it after the live just sound like the audio was just unedited. I used an iPhone to stream…. What possibly could be wrong here?
@blogwithbenАй бұрын
Hmmmmm. That's strange. If the reverb didn’t carry over to the live stream: 1. Check if the Maonocaster was set as the input source in your streaming software. 2. Ensure that the reverb effect was enabled during the live stream. 3. Some platforms, like Facebook Live, might not process real-time effects from external devices. Testing on another platform can help identify if this is the issue. I hope that helps!

I have a question that Maono has not answered me back yet. I have a PD100X that is recognized by the Maono-link software yet the NEO is not. The NEO works through Windows but is simply not recognizing by their software. So what is up with that? 🤔😕
@blogwithbenАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! I'm really sorry about that. It seems that this behavior is unfortunately expected, as the Maono-Link software is not compatible with all Maono devices. Currently, it supports specific products such as the PD100X microphone, but not the G1 Neo. As shown here: www.maono.com/pages/maono-link-software-download I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but as of now, the NEO doesn't work with the Maono Link software. I'm really sorry about that. :/

Hi, thanks for watching! If your Maonocaster isn’t detected in Audacity: 1. Check the MacBook's USB-C ports and ensure they’re functioning. 2. Open Audio MIDI Setup on your Mac and verify the Maonocaster is recognized as an input/output device. 3. Install any necessary drivers or updates for compatibility. 4. In Audacity, go to Preferences > Devices and select the Maonocaster as the input source. Let me know if you need more help troubleshooting!

@@blogwithben Hi, thank you for your response. I had already figured out and it's over a week that my Maonocaster AMC2 NEO works like a charm in my 2014 MacBook Air. I've used it in Adobe Audition as well as in FCPX for voice-over recording and it worked flawlessly with zero latency - monitoring the signals with my headphones. I find there is very much noticeable latency of several seconds when on only Audacity. The most incredible feature is the Maonocaster AMC2 NEO's 'Noise Reduction'. I had created a 50-seconds test video of the sunset with voice-over directly recorded in FCPX's time line and just the first stage of 'Noise Reduction' feature was enough to create a pindrop background silence. Once I'm free, I shall devout more time in exploring this lovely Audio Interface and create stunning voice-over for my videos. I need to also get used to the numerous settings of both FCPX and Audition while using the Maonocaster AMC2 NEO. I'm also very keen to learn how to use the Maonocaster AMC2 NEO while live streaming in KZbin, FB, Zoom call, and Skype. Thank you once again. Cheers!
