Ngl the fifine t669b is my fav budget mic it’s only 50 bucks. Especially when I tend to break a lot while gaming

You know what it would be cool @senpai? Secondary small monitor to have it vertically next to your main monitor just to read chats or have streaming apps at glance

Absolutely!

the problem with only having output mix is the exact reason i got the GoXLR, back when i used to livestream, I could have 1 mix to stream, 1 mix to my team mates and 1 mix going to my headset. I dont stream anymore due to IRL commitments, but I still enjoy using the GoXLR to control my audio such as music, discord, game audio and such. Might be pretty expensive for someone starting out, but i loved it ever since i bought it with my first twitch payout! :)

As someone who got an xlr mic for zoom/teams meetings, the G1 neo is the best of the 2. I got the C2 Neo at first then refunded it because I had to recharge the unit every 3-4hours. So I got the G1 neo instead. The C2 neo is clearly made to be portable and the G1 for home/office use since it's plug and play and set and forget. I don't need more really. I don't mind having only 1 input etc. Also on maono's website the G1 and C2 are the same price but on amazon(at least in canada) someone is price gouging the G1 to like 200$. So I ordered directly from them.

I'd love to see a batch of budget options. I think there is a big difference between what a Professional streamer might need, and what a Hobbiest/entry level streamer might need. You know that streamer who has a extremely small audience, and has only enough time to start a stream maybe once or twice a week. To that streamer spending 100$, or 200$ on ALL of your stream gear, thats right a total budget of 100-200$, thats sometimes hard to justify. Sure you could use a USB mic and call it a day, OR you could could get a Stream kit from a someone like Maono or Fifine and really have the majority of the basics covered.

I'd love to see more budget stuff, but I fear it might dilute the high quality generally applicable videos on this channel. I'd be nice to have a secondary channel for review stuff that isn't too ground-breaking, game changing or highly anticipated. Stuff like the GoXLR 2 will probably still come here, but each budget mixer that you've given a week can be on the other channel, or more expensive gear that doesn't actually change much or even really silly experiments. Like, imagine streaming with a Midas MR 12. It's also a great place to cover generally less interesting gear like streaming lights or less streaming-adjacent stuff like guitar gear. Then we can have a yearly or so video on the main channel with all the surprisingly cool gear from the other channel.

$23.80 as of 12/22 w/ a discount coupon. I'd like to see the comparison of their lineup bc there are several options. I'd be interested to see it compared to the other units just above it at full price. The big knob & little need to be switched at a minimum though. I KNOW I'd be hitting that on accident way to often lol.
@JayfkProductions8765 сағат бұрын
For streamers a gain knob on the front should be left alone. For us musicians it's perfect I use a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8-3G having the Gain Knob on the front instead of the top is sweet & also those dual headphone jacks Super Sweet.

It's not streamer friendly for the same 1 output and 1 loopback channel problem, but still love my good old SSL2. Doesn't really matter to me, I don't live stream, but it's nice seeing some of the really cool features being put into these budget interfaces.

It's $30 and you could use a free piece of software like VoiceMeeter Potato to split up those different sound channels. That's probably a tad bit more complicated then just using built in software from a GoXLR... but hey it's $30.

Regarding the software download. Probably not intended but you can download without making an account. If you click on the picture or app name it will just take you to the download page but if you click the download button it will prompt for a login.

Harris, a mixer absolutely should have gain and main out on the front of a device. This is a feature of literally every mixer ever. I've used dozens of different mixers over my 25 years in the industry, and they all have these features on the main face of the devices. Every single one. You're also wrong about needing to use desktop audio in OBS to capture that audio. You should be telling people to capture each program individually in OBS. Also, that's not a drawback. That's, again, how every budget mixer works. You're comparing a $30 mixer to a $500 mixer with subouts. This clearly doesn't have sub channels. It seems like you're just not accustom to using traditional devices. This is how they work.

this is a Question i have had for a long time. but i would love a video or just an explaintion somewhere. from you and some of the best ways to merge Beacon, Elegato, Rode, or any other Audio device to try and create what for that person is there audio setup. this idea came about after i watched stuff about beacon and how i would love some of there stuff but since i mainly own Elegato devices i dont want to just get rid of my wave 3 mic and the stuf up i currently have to swap to beacon

@actionwarrior20429 сағат бұрын
Got it recently (on sale) and yes, the only downside (which seemingly fixed itself) was the unify software (although they have an alternative which I haven't tried). If you see complaints about a hiss in your headphones (not found when recording), that's dependent on both your microphone gain and headphone output. I've only found the hiss when they're both above 75% (on the dials) but with my current mic (AT2020 XLR), I haven't needed half the gain it can provide and so I have the headphone output at 100% without any hissing. Also, don't have any other XLR mics so I can't say whether or not the phantom power (which my mic requires) effects the potential hiss.

Stop buying potato chips & other junk food. Still living with mommy & daddy? Get a job, Go shovel snow, rake leaves, mow yards, etc.
