Love my bI03. Also had the issue of the cord making the earbuds fall out but switched to some Skull candy eartips I had laying around and the issue got fixed and after that the fit was perfect! The sound is also probably my favourite especially since I came from using skull candy and powerlocus headphones (don’t recommend them) but after 2 years they still work great and cord became trash recently… thanks for the great video

I would say the V90 has the most sub bass. The V90 are more of a V shape sound and have enough treble. The Blon probably has more mid bass. None of them really has bass that bleeds into the mids.

I just use the stock tips but everyones fitment is different. You will either be lucky and be able to use the stock cable or modify it by heating the ear hook area for a better fitment or use a blade to remove it. Yinyoo make some cables specifically for the Blon or you can just use a 8 / 16 core 2 pin cable from Yinyoo, NiceHCK etc.

I still like the Blon as they can sound more natural and I like the tonality of dynamic drivers. They also perform better when amped.

@@VortexReviews1 well that a problem if you need a $100 amp for a $26 iem then it is no longer a $26 iem it is a $126 iem ;) but you must be right because when i raise the volume of my laptop on blon 03 something very wrong happens in the trebble, as if it was peaking, very unpleasant, no such problem on my zs 10 pro.

I have: Kz-Zs10 Pro Ikko OH10 BlON Bl-03 JVC Fw01 Wood And TRN V90 Get Zs10 pro for good balance and great clarity and sound per dollar. Get V90 for monster bass (mids are definitely recessed/biggest fault) If you have a lot more money and love soundstage, Oh10s are really nice in that way, but are kind of shallow (in the ears) and only a slight bit better than Zs10 Pros.

@@VortexReviews1 They're good, but I'm not convinced they're many steps ahead of the ZS10 Pro to be honest. They give me the impression that the bass is anemic in some spots and overbearing in others. It's noticeable on a lot of beats where it's really loud and then at the same time there's no sub bass or emphasis on the low mids either. My pair also came with a cable where one side is louder than the other since like the 2nd day of use, so had to order a new one :/

I recommend all the ones I spoke about in the video. The BL03 is the easier to listen to due to the less treble it has in comparison to the ZS10 pro. The BL-03 is a nice all rounder but needs a cable from my opinion.

@@paulgillard2215 The issue with the stock cable is the pre-formed ear guides. They are very stiff and in my case and others they actually pushed the earphones out of the ears. There is supposed to be a way of manually cutting a bit off the cable to help reduce this but they might be fine for your daughter and son's girlfriend.

I just concluded that Revonext QT2s is way better than ALL earphones that you show up in this video. Vigorous bass, but controlled, deep and solid. A super vivid sound, but also natural. Not fatiguing for a second, bright and smooth at the same time. Well above average. Very easy to drive too (using on a fucking smartphone with cheap cable). Well, a very underrated piece, in my opinion. I recently bought a C12 thinking it would finally surpass the QT2s, to find out that the QT2s crushes the C12 and it's KZ's cousins. But guess what? Mine QT2s is broken too (the left earpiece) after a few months of use. I miss my old QT2s 😔

I like EDM music and electronic mostly but also other genres like rock, country and some classical. (Vivaldi four seasons Mmm m Mmm) I so really want to buy the bl 03 for the comfort and soundstage but the other iems are better for fast track music. I am treble sensitive too but I can handle the odd spike. My source will be my s9 plus phone. I do have a xduoo xd 05 amp but but I cant be bother using it sometimes. Bit of a faff. Transients and subB is weak on V90 until you give them more power. Then they're my favorite by a longshot. KZ ZSX is very similar (better than the ZS10 Pro by a very noticeable margin) but slightly better while low powered. Blon has too many issues, even when fit is mostly fixed it still has a lot of driver flex and an odd comfort fit.. for them to be secure you need it pushed in but then they are too thick (dome shape) inside your ear. As someone else said, a bit longer nozzle would solve a lot of the issue but it would also create more issues. The CCA looks good, haven't heard it though. Moondrop Crescent sounded sluggish as F to me. Too many QC issues with the GRi18's people are loving. VE BIE just too much flex and microsonics on non-detachable cable.

@@amanieux It sounds like a big deal, but it only actually occurs while inserting/removing the IEM. Once they're in it doesn't matter. The biggest reason for me to mention it is just because it will reduce the lifespan of the driver's quality, but that won't happen quick enough for most people to even notice the gentle deterioration. Overall driver flex isn't a big deal, I'm just nitpicking. :P

Sub bas is something that you feel more rather than you hear. Mid bass is basicly bass guitar range.

I agree with wishmaster but hard to explain the cut off but you know when you hear it as sub bass bass is the really deep stuff.

Hi Vortex, You know what "hidden gem" expression means... I guess I've found one lately. $18, 1DD, metal barrel form factor, like VE Bonus IE, - I got a kinda soft spot for this type of earphones. I have them A LOT. Sound... Hm - sound is just OUTSTANDING for such a little baby (I think they are even smaller then Bonus - 9x10mm). Reminds me of Blon.Mids (i.e. vocals - both male and female) are FORWARD, Highs are excellent, microdetails- TOP. Bass is amazing - if you could hear their SUBBASS (well, it's a basshead dream - though I'm not a basshead). Oh, my... Overall - sound is slightly dark, but extremely well balanced. 9x10 barrel - I'M STUNNED. My BEST "barrels" since now. The only flaw - their cable. Not that it's a complete trash, no - not at all. Just...could be better. Interested? If so, gimme a sign.

I got the same cable for my Blon 03's and swapped out the tips, they're bloody comfy IEM's and are weighty and solid with no angular edges. I like them a lot.

@@Adin4Christ Not necessarily an upgrade just different. The Blon have elevated mid bass but the tuning is very good overall. I like the Blon C12 equally as they both have strengths and weaknesses.

I just received my CCA C12 today. Tested for 4 hours on my android phone Huawei Nova 3i. I also compare against iPhone earpods (aged 4 years). Stock cable and ear tips used. Songs tested: Metallica 320kps mp3, PussycatDolls FLAC, vocal songs on youtube, Eminem. At first, C12 is definitely more detail. Vocal and instrument. Bass is nice and smooth. But some NOISE. So I tuned up equalizer. I use JetAudio free app, prefer two presets (headphone 2- more treble and rock 2-more bass), then I customised in between. Voila!! All songs then sound better. The difference to iphone earpods is more obvious. I copied same setting to built-in phone sound equalizer. I also have cheap Sony mp3 player NWZ-B183, bass boost and equalizer are useless anyway. So I use flat. Still better than earpods. Improvement is clear. Maybe I will buy HiFi mp3 player but someone said smartphone nowadays is good enough. Is it true?
