I would suggest you use a regular color for the roots and not a toner. since you choose that color maybe like ash blonde at a level 7 or so.The thicker consistency would have helped. Also I think you should have went back in and fixed the parts where you missed because the color variation makes the part look like it's balding when it's just merely not colored at all.

I really appreciate that you shared your mistakes with us. Nobody is perfect and we learn from our mistakes. It turned out beautiful! I haven't had the guts to do a wig like this. I buy them already cut and colored but I really would like to try one like this. Maybe one day.
