Olaplex only costs 1 dollar per application to cost as a stylist. Less is more. That and you get a free jug of no.2 when you order the salon kit. pH bonder may be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Olaplex is the only technology that relinks broken disulfide bonds. The real reason hair becomes over processed is because of these bonds becoming weak, no longer being able to retain shape, texture, or moisture. Without the disulfide bonds you're just putting a bandaid over it.

Beautiful! How do you pick your root colors for different clients?

Heyyy Daniella! I absolutely love your color technique. I would love to see how to go from a level 2-3ish brown to a vibrant level 5 cool brown with no hit of red. I know you'll need to add ash into it, but I'm looking for very little ash as I would like to see it a cooler color. Any ideas?!

Mark Jimenez hey mark! If you don't want to see any red I would lift your client to a level 6 where you only see a golden tone and then I would deposit the color you want. I love using anything with b in it. Like 4nb or with a cap full of 5n! What color line do you use?

Daniella Benita heyyy Daniella! So I went to a Paul Mitchell School, so to be honest I was never confident with their color as it is not predictable. I know you mentioned using a test strand but it can get cost prohibitive when experimenting with different colors as I'm not in a salon. I love Redken color as the browns are brown!!! Lol the client is myself and yes I am licensed lol

Great video! Im confused on why you put 5n on roots and mids? Is it to even out the darker pieces?

Hello how often would you change your brushes
@DaniellaBenita
@DaniellaBenita 7 жыл бұрын
I personally like when my brushes are a little more beat up lol In my opinion they distribute the color much better! But keep different brushes for different applications. So for instance I have my framar brushes for balayge and I have my old beat up brushes for applying shades eq and more liquidy color because it holds onto it more easily.

What would you do if the hair turns pinkish red when lifting
@DaniellaBenita
@DaniellaBenita 7 жыл бұрын
Ask your client about their hair history. It's either lifting previous color or ask them if they were using color infused shampoos. Also how long did you let the lightener sit? It might need more time to process or if there's no way around any of those you have to tone it to a neutral color then have your client wait a couple weeks and then have them come back for another session. Hope this helped! ❤️

Brian Diana she wanted to be lighter. To go lighter you use bleach. There isn't a problem if her hair is healthy

how long did you leave the hair bleach? Thank you
@DaniellaBenita
@DaniellaBenita 7 жыл бұрын
Hey Angelita! I left it on for 20 minutes after the application but it depends on what your clients wants to see. I wanted to push her hair as far as it would go without damage so I left it on as long as possible. If you haven't used Olaplex use it! It's the best product to keep your clients hair safe while it's lifting and you can push it a lot further and still keep their hair healthy.
