As an 11 year old gay kid in a pretty bad situation I needed to find an alternative attitude to the abuse of authority that I was experiencing. Then BLONDIE arrived. Punk enough to count but pop enough to reach a kid my age. Denis by Blondie was a life changer for me and remains the most important record I ever bought. Just seeing this footage for the first time ever was emotional, in the best possible way ! 😀

Look on Ebay or Etsy for Blondie Musikladen performance. I think there's more than one DVD of the same TV performance but on the one I got Denis was missing
