This has Edith Piaf vibes with a 1978 Blondie spin. That is a really good rendition in that mix. She is melding a disco type classic with a modern feel, great job. Mixing two cultural music perspectives 40 plus years later is quite difficult. Even Johnny Hallyday never came close to an American and French mix quite like that. That is with no criticism to Johnny's artistic work, even his House of the Rising Sun is a masterpiece in German with a Las Vegas and Animals (British) feel.
