1:39:42 you allocate your wounds to the bodyguard unit until they are destroyed. After which you allocate to the leader, therefor you can take your invuln. Remember slow rolling.

At first i hated the Wings of Sanguinius change but i just realized I can yeet a 6 man blob of Centurions or flamer aggressors 9" away from a unit turn 1. Look at me. I am the Raven Guard now.

Why does DA get to fall back, shoot and charge, while BA gets to only charge? Cause fall back and charge is more effective and valuable on BA who get to have jetpacks, and re-engage up to 12'. To make it the same value for a DA termi with 5' move fallback and charge, u gotta compensate that lack of mobility. That's why we (DA) get to shoot as well

Man, not using 4+ FNP on Lion was such a blunder, but hey now we know what assault cannons are good for ;P He had a solid chance of living through all of that!

@@timr8657 The Lion is an Adeptus Astartes unit. He's also within 6" of himself. So, he would give himself the 4+ FNP. That's how it works in 10th. Good question though. We're all learning the new edition.

The rules commentary says: "Strength, Toughness, Attacks and Damage characteristics can never be modified below 1. The exception to this is where a rule specifies that you can change the Damage characteristic to 0, where this is applied before any other modifiers." So there we have it.

Oh I hate watching people play Dark Angels, the Lion has 2x Watchers in the dark, which he can spend to get a 4++ against mortal wounds... it's what they do now.

Astorath is actually kinda meh, regular chaplain with jump pack would be better and probably cheaper. I like the sanguinor pick and surprisingly a lot of inceptors!

Support wise or damage wise or points? Support wise Astorath seems far better for the unit overall unless you are using hammers. The chaplain damage out put is better, and the support is decent and perfect if you are using hammers. Of course, chaplain win in points typically.

Take Dante with a jump pack priest on sanguinary guard since the priest give you a Feel no pain of 5+ and bonus AP plus if you take the enchantment that half OC control units on the priest it’s pretty good

Sanguinary Priests cant join Sanuinary Guard they can only join Assault Squads, Devastator Squads, Tactical Squads and Vanguard Veteran Squads.

I have a question. So if you play a non codex complaint chapter (like blood angels, dark angels..ecc) you can't use devastator, tactical, assault doctrines?

Yes you can, if you use the Gladius detachment. But then you can’t use the chapter specific detachment (Sons of Sanguinius etc.) rules, strats and enhancements.

So with what Brian said about fliers any thoughts on the storm raven not being able to drop a redemptor size dread? Does it need to be FAQed or did they do it on purpose to only carry older model dreads? Which would seem odd given they have been discontinued

@James KillBot basically when you disembark you have to be wholly within 3". And the redemptor base is larger than 3". Meaning it can't ever disembark

(in previous editions there was a rule about monsters not being able to fit in a deployment zone it could be deployed but overlap the boundary but couldn't move first turn and counted as if it had moved... whether this was an official rule or became a generally accepted way of handling that situation...)

You have to one hero or epic as your warlord, but other than that, you can have as many as your points provid. And yeah, you probably got confused with the one of each epic hero rule (only one Dante).

Lol, people get so wrapped up and tunnel vision over secondaries that they forget that there is actually a primary adjective. my friends and I actually did not use secondaries threw out 9th and enjoyed it more.

Not really. It creates some weird setups, but is still way more FUN of a game than the “do your homework” that the tourney players steered GW into in 9th. Tourney guys hate it, but all the casual players I know like it way more

Wow. I haven't seen Brian on this channel for over 6 months. I only really enjoy Adrian and Brian as cast members. The rest are a little to tryhard. Bridger especially is so annoying, can't bare listening to him. Wish Brian and Adrian stayed as the channel stars. They created this channel and its what made it great.
