If you press the Y key you can toggle an overhead skill overview which is very useful especially when teams start getting a lot of new skills. Also on defense as dworfs try only putting only 3 players on the middle line of scrimmage to avoid giving your opponent free blocks. Also on defense it is usually optimal to keep your players that are not on the line of scrimmage at least 2 columns back from the LOS to avoid them getting tied up by a particular kick off event.

In Blood Bowl 2 I played a skaven team, and it was always a bit worrying when I'd have to play a good dwarf team.

Turin, you keep talking about how your opponent is making a lot of risky one-dice hits, but the thing is, if you have Block, one dice hits are not very risky (even if your opponent has Block as well). If you play Dwarves, you need to be making lots of one-dice hits, it is one of the team's greatest advantages. Explanation: Assuming that both players have Block, a one-dice hit has only a 1-in-6 chance of having a negative outcome (Attacker Down). On the other hand, you have a 1-in-3 chance of downing his player (Defender Down and Defender Stumbles). That is 2:1 odds of ending up with a man advantage due to injury, and 5:1 odds of not turning over. Those are pretty good odds, especially if you can gain at least a little tactical value out of a Push result. (The odds get even better if the other player doesn't have Block). I think you just have your assumptions trained by other teams, because one-dice hits ARE super risky for non-Blockers, because instead of trading a 1-in-6 chance of turning over for 2:1 odds of ending up with a man advantage, you are trading a 1-in-3 chance of turning over for a 3:2 chance of getting an advantage.

The opponent for this match had loaded dice. The most haggard one dice rolls I've ever seen.

Dwarves have Block, so one dice rolls aren't that risky, even against other Blockers. You've only got a 1-in-6 chance of getting hurt (Attacker Down), and you've got a 1-in-3 chance of hitting the other guy, if he's a Blocker too (like here), on Defender Down or Defender Stumbles (on non-Blockers, you are up to a 50% chance, since Both Down becomes another Defender Down). 2:1 odds of a positive hit and 5:1 odds of not turning over are pretty safe, especially if you can extract at least some value from a Push (opening a lane, enabling a 2-dice hit, unbasing one of your guys to now move without dodging, etc.). Turin just has his reflexes stuck on non-Dwarf, because without Block, a one-dice hit is a 1-in-3 chance of a turnover in return for 3:2 chance of getting a man advantage via injury, which IS super risky.

it was rough during launch, but the publisher made some concessions about customization (now unlimited uses for each except legendary items which are 1 per team) and a lot of stability/bug fixing. I still want to see more features from BB2 brought back, but will definitely pick up for season 1, in which everyone gets a free season pass as well
