Best Blood Bowl 2 opening match I've ever had was also against Skaven - they had first turn; first thing their Rat Ogre blocked my lineman at the line of scrimmage - all skulls, Ogre went down, rolled over its own armour and died. First action of the game, dead Rat Ogre in its own turn. I laughed *so* hard 😅

I'm going to just say that they buffed probably unknowingly one of the already most busted skills in the game: tentacles. Because, the dodge roll taking place before the tentacle roll now makes so that not only if u fail the dodge roll u fall over but now even you remain attached to the beast if the tentacles rolls fails too. It's broken.

44:10 Regulation time is two halves of 8 turns each (barring kick-off results), for 16 turns. If the result at end of regulation time is a tie, overtime of an additional 8 turns is played, for a total of 24 turns.

So just checked this out on Steam. I’m conflicted. £25 is a very reasonable price point but they’re missing some of my favourite teams: the undead. Whether the tomb kings, shambling or necromantic undead (even the terrible vampire team), I love them all. I suppose they’ll be available in dlc at some point but still… on the plus side, no wood or high elves. Decisions, decisions.

I'm also a fan of Bloodbowl and recently got back into TWW so will check out your other vids :) Just with a Nurgle roster, you're right; usually when building the initial team coaches start with fewer pestigors and swap them for linemen (rotters) in order to start with some Rerolls. Good luck in your games!

Thanks for playing Nurgle. I've been considering them since they're so unpopular and difficult to succeed with. I have to say I'm overall not happy with their new look. There are two types of ugly: cool-looking ugly and stupid-looking ugly. Rotters are the former, pestigors and rotspawn are the latter. The bloaters are okay I guess, but more armor would have been nice. And why is the rotspawn as small as a dwarf?

I would say that a bunch of other total war content creators (NerdrageFred, Great Book of Grudges, Colonel Damnders) were saying they had a bunch of crashes with it. But I've not experienced a single one. Other than a bit of lag when a tackle takes place and the AI taking ages to decide when to use a reroll it's been fine.

do not like the way you play at all. like why push the enemy back when you can push them sideways and get another attack in? Like right before you scored the touch down you could have moved 3 guys up in defense to support the ball carrier in case he failed his extra move roll

No provisos needed for the size of the game needed as I do genuinely think that Blood Bowl is by far the best game in terms of design that GW has ever put out. If you want to play this yourself though for the love of Nuffle safe moves first! That means anything that can be done with out a dice roll, i.e moving and standing gets done first as you can't fail that and cause a turnover. Definitely concerning how much the AI was ignoring that golden rule of the game, even more so making so many risky dodge rolls with unskilled clanrats, and even more so when they were next to something with tentacles and still trying it.

The ai is terrible in 'this' game. So many turnovers on the first few moves of the turn. So many unnecessary risks taken.

Yeah it's pretty bad they don't seem to try to make you make do rolls which is always quite an important factor in blood bowl. And take a huge number of risks themselves
