Great guide, thanks! Note on stats, from what I've seen from high level Blood DK's and theory crafters (depending on which hero spec, generally NOT San'layn) haste has become our worst stat. Not sure now San'layn is even an option after the changes to us specifically after the tank changes.

Gosh, I'm so excited for these changes. My issue with BDK the whole time through DF has been how stagnant our talents were, and that there just weren't many viable choices, so being able to mess around and experiment some, especially in the class tree, is super exciting.

Bone shield does in fact work with insatiable blade. If you eat 10 charges it reduces dancing rune weapon by about a minute.

I am totally overwhelmed. I played 7ish years ago with a Fury Warrior, stopped playing until recently. Picked my DPS back up and took a couple days to knock the rust off but now I can do my rotations and CD's in my sleep. I started a BDK last night thinking I wanted to branch out to tank since that's what I play most of my other hack n slash games and even D&D. I saw all of the buttons for BDK and all the varrying CD times and got lost.

Wish they updated the blurry femurs that float around you (bone shield). It would be awesome to have it look like the necromancer's bone armor in d3, where it's an actually armor piece over it. I mean, something different than the 15 year-old junk they have now.

I’m curious with the changes to death strike what’s the healing like? It’s by far the most I enjoy out of bdk. I purely play with friends and we never push that far in mythic+ but I always found it fun competing with hp/s. Could outheal the damage of bosses up to +10

The class is still ok, you can likely continue doing what you were before. Healing will be less overall

Hey Llarold, little bit of misinformation in this video. Blood Boil is an extremely important ability for us and we want to be using it pretty much on cooldown, our main goal as blood DK's is maximizing our death strikes, and through hemostasis we are able to create very large death strikes that will help sustain us. Besides that I really enjoyed the video, I already know I'll be playing BDK but I love watching any new content for the new expansion!

As an Amateur tank, greatest accomplishment is i did the Mage Tower in Legion on Prot Pally. I'm down to either playing a Paladin or DK in TWW to tank M+. Im super nervous to play Blood because of the spiky nature of my health. I pvp heal and that's stressful enough. Is it as stress inducing as it looks?

It still has a minimum, and it is still worth hitting at least every 5s to get healing, but it has absolutely cut down on the potential for reactive self-healing in burst damage situations.

I dont know how to fully feel about DS being effected. The health being almost gone every mob looks awful im hoping BDK isn't actually as weak as it looks in every video now

Death strike change doesn’t feel all that noticeable if you already know how to play BDK well. Just need to be a little more strategic about how you DS

@@AAKhanivore Not really. You should not cap runic power so you'll naturally use it in your rotation. This will give u constant healing while saving some spare runic power to emergencies. In those cases you pop up vampiric power and death strike. Remember, BDK also has defensives that you can (and should) use to mitigate damage.
