Just something I want to add, Taurox's plan is even more clever than first thought. The Bluesong could very easily kill him, by starving him, poisoning him, peppering him with spears or just plain overwhelming him, but they wanted to put on a big show of them being better than the Kindred of the Tusk by killing their champion. Taurox is showing an impressive knowledge of propoganda, sybolism and morale here.

The BlueSong Empire are based on troodontids (once considered the smartest non-bird dinosaurs and very close relatives of birds), and the Kindred of the Tusk are based on Ceratosaurus, among the most basal and “primitive” of theropods. The entire point of this is to deconstruct the idea of “evolutionary levels”.

Almost reminds me from far cry primal (Sunwalkers being the evolved with their methods of technilogy and development while the Udam being the primtive neanderthals) Can see the portrayal with the Blue Song and Kindred of the Tusk

The kindred of the tusk is on the right btw As said by the creator in a explanation video the blue song are from far of and want to tame the animals and use them as slaves or soldiers.
