So as a mortal fan I have some notes for interesting quirks they have. Great advice for getting into the army otherwise but I don't want people thinking the manly men of khorne lack funny tools. 1. Khornate legion lets you perform chain combats that are normally not possible, an extremely easy combo is Bloodmaster>bloodletters>aspiring deathbringer>blood warriors. So as long as you can get them all in there, that's 4 fight actions before your opponent gets one. Add in fight first from Mighty Lord ordering an exhalted deathbringer or Skulltaker, and we can easily get 6. So as floor of bloodthirster into skullreapers fighting, a ceiling of possibly an army swinging as if it were 40k. Plus this works on your opponents turn to only let them get one fight off before you eat them if they tried to mass charge you. 2. Wrathmongers have a +1 attack wholly within 12" of them that works on all mortals so long as they are in combat. What this translates to is an incredibly easy way to get +2 attacks on bloodreapers without waiting for 8 blood points. For their cost they're an ok melee unit with ok durability but an amazing aura. This of course pushes skullreapers into probably the most deadly thing in the game (61 attacks with just bloodsecrator and wrathmongers) averaging around 12 mortal wounds basically is death to any unit. 3. Mighty Skullcrushers deserve some respect, a native 2+ save for 15 wounds is incredible, which can be boosted with all out defense to no sell almost everything without mortals on it. Combined with their absurd mobility from power through + being a khorne mortal and reasonable damage on the charge thanks to natively having charge +1 damage and ofc being a mortal means you can blow through a screen then tie down basically anything that can't escape a redeploy plus a Murderlust move (so between 7 and 12 inches thanks to engagement range being 3" and murderlust not being no selled by redeploy unlike counter charge.
