I'd say that Bloodcrushers are the better choice. They are cheaper quite durable. Both units are no hard hitter. Skullcrushers are more durable I think. If you have a point left over take the skullcrushers. Settle down on an objective and start a family ❤

Can anyone help me please??? The altar says that the invoker is protected from attacks. All attacks that target the invoker are redirected to the altar first. But what is an attack? For example: if a unit does mortals on the charge, is that an attack? Can the invoker be wounded? Or if a slaughterpriest uses his ability to generate blood tithe, can the damage redirected to the altar? Is a magical spell an attack? There are many ways to deal damage in Aos... But not everything seems to be identified as an attack...

Some quick comments on some unit roles and overall strategies from a long time Khorne player that you might not be aware of: Blood Reavers serve the perfect function as cheap as shit screen/sacrifices for free bloodtithe from the slaughter priest ability. they have the lowest points cost in the faction from a standard unit and you don't take them to expect a lot out of them, only to fill points and serve the above function. Strategy you can NEVER count on the buff from the 8 cost bloodtithe as a point in a unit's favor. Realistically, you'll only ever be using Murder Lust and Wizard Bane in any game that isn't a complete curb stomp in one direction or the other. The ability to turn off a key enemy spell, or have an enemy close to 8-9 inches away from one of your units that's sitting on an objective expecting to charge into you and and take it from you by end of turn, then you just murder lust 3 inches away making their charge way harder, or moving 3 inches into combat with an enemy on their turn so that they can't shoot or charge you, is WAY more effective and devastating to their game plan than, "I didn't do anything until I had 8 bloodtithe on BR3, and so now I get +1 attacks". None of this is in meant as malicious or to be as talking down, just some good solid tips from a long time player to help newer players play our favorite blood soaked murder bois.

A few question concerning the Butchers of Nations Rule. I can use this ability even in my oponents turn, correct? 2nd question: in my opinion the combination of 1 Apsiring Deathbringer, 1 Mighty Lord of Khorne and 2 units of Blood Warriors (for example) would allow all this units to strike in a row and most of the time first. My idea is: 1st to go is the Mighty Lord of Khorne -> bring me their skull for Aspiring Deatbringer -> Furious Warleader for Blood Warriors 1 -> Butchers of Nations for Blood Warrior Unit 2. So all off this would happen in a row. Is this correct? Please let me know.

Just got back into AoS. 2nd edition was last i played. They really did my khorne guys wrong. No more Korgus Kuhl, Valkia the Bloody, Gareks Reavers, alt weapon profiles for Slaughterpriests or blood warriors, so many abilities are gone, Magores Fiends. Wtf!?

Bloodthirster under Khornate legion to make Aspiring Deathbringer fight and then furious warleader into making blood warriors fight for a 3 attack in one activation sounds pretty sweet

But the lord giving fights first to a gorechosen, then normal activate a herald, use his ability to instantly activate blood letters, then khornate legion to make aspiring deathbringer fight, then use his ability to make blood warriors activate. Providing enemy doesn't have fight first or last does that makes 5 activations before the enemy

@@olafolafsson2755 didn't say it was. Your turn you activate your fight first which has to be a gorechosen, then it's normal sequencing where you have first pick. You pick the herald. Herald is the 2nd to fight here

Pretty sure you skipped over the great brass parking lot, aka Mighty Skullcrushers. Still as pillowfisted as ever with 3 attacks at 3/3/1/1 with +1 on the charge and impact mortals on charge. But they're also 15 health on a 2+ with big bases and an 8" move, so a pretty great screen and pin to babysit the boring ol' objective game and let my bloodthirsters focus on doing what they do best.

Really like the Khorne rules and profiles. Think a lot of the units are just a tad overcosted 5-10% but that’s not a bad place to be at the start of an edition.

Hey, love the video. Blood for teh blood god! I was wondering if the combo of using the foot BloodMaster to fight with a unit of Bloodletters, but also use the Khorneate Legion ability to then trigger the Aspiring Deathbringer who would then trigger a unit of Blood warriors, to make four units to fight at once, would work.

Yes, it would haha But you would need to successfully charge with everything, while having at least one of the mortal and daemon units within 12", which would be an incredible concentration of ressources... So its amazing in theory, a bit less in practice Still gonna make it a list tho

@@dramoka1201 the idea is that you use the two heroes for that, the thought being that it's easier to have them within 12, but the limit is if you can use two reactions on the Bloodmaster's fight instead of the Bloodletters it'll also do a real number on a hero or centre piece

I was passing my local blood bank and out pops Rob wearing a red tracksuit and heart shaped glasses with red lenses. He was holding a pinkish? milkshake sucking on the straw. I asked him, "is that strawberry?" And he winked at me and spun around on the spot. By the time he came around half the shake was gone. Then he spun around the other way and the cup was empty. "That's gotta give you a brain freeze!" I exclaimed. "Not with these bad boys on" as he tipped the shades down and winked. I went inside the blood bank and asked for a strawberry shake. They said they didn't serve those, and they never will.

Rob, I think you misunderstood the Mighty Lord of Khorne's ability. He gives strikes first to GORECHOSEN. Gorechosen are the foot heroes which are all pretty mediocre. It sounded like you think he gives strikes first to a Bloodbound unit, which would be any mortal unit. He could give SF to an Aspiring Deathbringer who could then chain activate Blood Warriors. That's neat but the two heroes required to do this are well over 200p together.

i love your reaction to all units adding +1/2 attacks for a billion attacks. awsome dream status rly. sadly however the +1 from the icon guy is once per game, and to use the blood tith( stops your +1 rend blood tithe) requires a lot of blood tithe so not usable until later in the game.

i have play some game with my khorne army with match play rules and it lost alot of thing. kind of don't like the changes. it lost some good prayer and any casting army going to eat khorne up fast. the khorne incocation just suck now, lost some good blood tithe effect, lost summoning but I'm fine with that but with the point increase kind hit the army hard, the only thing they did good for khorne have a wand on the daemons but on the unit is a 6+ wand it should have been 5+ wand to make up for losing the summoning with the army and for the mortal they should have give them a little bit better saves on some of the units. i dont like the Skull Altar changes because now I have to have a priest to babysit it and just to get the effect to stop any spell target my unit. I already said this once but the increase point is a big hit to the army. now I'm done complaining about this Army Rules and changes

So true - I played Khorne 4.0 aswell and it felt pretty helpless especially against shooting, fast things and strike first shenanigans. Khorne units are quite slow and don't have a huge punch compared to many other things in AoS. The tricks come from a lot of Hero warscrolls - But you cant spend all those points into useless foot heroes. You won't have anything on the board then. Bloodthirsters are expensive af and you wont bring a bloodthirster back because if you wait and store your bloodtithe points to have the mighty 8 - you gonna lose the game.

I was waiting for this one ! Great video, but you did make a mistake on the skullgrinder and Skarr. Once he dies, the bonus would die with him, since replacement units are considered to be new units, and thus, all buffs, debuffs, tokens, and uses of once per battle abilities are reset. I would put the buff on a killy Mighty Lord of Khorne or a fun Exalted Deathbring The bloodcrushers can play with the attrition game of the daemons with the herald on blood throne. A reinforced stack of 30 wounds, 4+ save and a 6+ ward coming back as 15 wounds and a blood tithe point in the pocket can be quiet good i think ? (tho, they cost the same as bloodletters, sooooo...they really could add a killy ability on the charge, or add an attack somehow...) I still find the bloodbound side stronger than the daemon side, but who knows how impactful and efficient the blood throne can be ? seems like that model is a key unit for playing a daemon focused list And a note for flesh hounds, they make great sacrifices for the slaughterpriest. For just 10 points more than the bloodreavers, they have the same health pool, a better save and a 6+ ward. Their speed and base size makes them good at screening too i think. 110 point for pinning a big threat for a turn and gaining a blood tithe blood is a good deal i think

Bloodbound > Deamons not even close sadly. Skarbrand and Bloodthirsters might sound great but when you consider the points not really. Just do the math and skullreapers overshadow every other unit. Plus you can buff the hell out of those bloodbound units. I was a deamon player but seeing how good bloodbound are i will switch. Good thing is i have 2 k of daemons and 2 k of bloodbound.
