I checked out the twilight vamp spec after seeing your last BftBG tank video. This spec is loads of fun!! DPS cooldowns like bloodbath and Skull Banner become survivability cooldowns and the dps absolutely love the pace you naturally want to keep as a bleed vamp tank. Often I'm able to at least sustain myself at 20+ Bathe in Blood stacks to allow healers who need it a chance to regen mana. Really enjoying your Ascension videos keep up the good work!!

Hey Adam! Glad you tried out the build and I'm happy to hear you had solid good results! its so true that your offensive cooldowns become defensive in a sense. It is still a solid build and I highly recommend it! I made a build on the Heroes Architect that's been updated to Chapter 2! Just type in Archaon under level 60 builds and you will find it.

Hey Simon! I do believe this build can rock Mythic + and also is an excellent Tank to hold AoE Aggro in Raids! Thanks for the comment!

@@varyn_ So low mitigation/avoidance and oh shit buttons to be raid tank in a propper level (m, asc). Healing is neglectable without shitloads of mobs on you (which won't happen much in raids).

Hello Capo~ First, thank you for your comment. You are not wrong about the lower mitigation and neglectable healing that the Blood God Tank has. The low mitigation is being addressed right now; I'm testing "Indominable" to replace "Hell Scream" as unfortunately it does not heal from "Twilight" as well as adding on more defense talents like Reckoning, and Divine Strength to deal with hit rating so I can focus on Tank gear more. The Tier 2 Wrath Warrior Blademaster Set is really strong with this build as well! The neglectable healing has always been a thing with the "Twilight" enchant, so even creating the possibility for a working Tank to use it via Blood For The Blood God adds a fun support feeling to the group content as a whole. This build is more attuned as a more casual change away from typical tanks we have in Ascension WoW. Having the ability to Tank, Heal, and also DPS will absolutely have more innate weaknesses than a traditional tank. Though I feel that this idea could be built upon in the future and absolutely has potential with proper discipline and expertise to master it. Lastly in raids; I can't say I've done Mythic or Ascended tanking but I have completed Heroic Black Wing Lair with no issues on my end as this specialization~ which to me is enough potential to share.

Personally I would go; Defensive Stance, Charge, Aspect of the Monkey and Thunder Clap 👍🏼. Rend shouldn’t be too difficult to roll and no SS necessary!

Hello Caine! I did some testing and it seems you are right; it doesn't give any healing. Still the damage is extremely synergized with this tank build so its still a good option. May poke and prod to see if this can work with Vampiric in the future! For now my alternative Epic Enchant if you can't use Hell Scream is "Crackling Thunder". Its a Thunder Clap RE that makes every enemy hit take 5% more crit chance from you and also it deals AoE DoT damage as well!

Hello! I recently just updated most of my player guides so check that out on the Heroes Architect! Now if I had an extra 10 points to spend I would either go full Defense with x3 in Spell Warding , x3 in Tenacity , and x1 in Light's Vengeance. For a more balance damage and defense I would finish Armored to the Teeth, then go x5 Cruelty , and x3 Wrecking Crew. Either should work solid for you as the more damage you do the more healing you will get back, and if your more tanky then that will also keep you alive! Thanks for commenting and I hope this helps!

I tried it out and found that Blunt Force Trauma doesn't heal from Twilight either unfortunately. Still a solid wall but BFT is standalone damage only. Thank you for the idea!

Yes there is :) take the blade master video tank layout and replace the tank with more dps talents and you got a 2h Blood God DPS ^^
