Demon idea. The Thing - Each Night, except night one, choose a player. You die and they become The Thing and are evil. Former Things do not get a dead vote.

I think for something like that, you would need a day limit clause or something similar as otherwise players are incentivised to let the demon run amok.

@@JesseThacker Oh I like the idea! I would just suggest adding something to avoid a village deciding to let themselves all be infected. Keep on home brewing though! Some of the best ideas come from it.

Balancing suggestion. Setup: No minions. Dead things get a normal dead vote. The mounting number of evil dead votes is what generates the pressure on the town, making it feel a bit more like a Leviathan game in terms of pace. But the town also gets additional townsfolk in place of minions to solve the game. If that's too easy for town, +1 or +2 outsiders as part of setup. I'm pretty confident that with the right script, the town has at least a fair chance with a normal outsider count, and my gut feeling is that +2 outsiders would let the evil stomp. So +0 or +1 outsiders would probably be good. It would be very interesting to try. You would have to add other demons to the script, because otherwise dead players are outed evil. Leviathan, Al-Had, and Riot wouldn't work as cover for obvious reasons. I think Zombuul's really solid as a pairing to The Thing, probably with Baron or God Father to match outsider manipulation. With The Thing, there's a strong incentive not to execute first 2-3 days, and that would give Zombuul some kills. Vig and Fang Gu might also work pretty well, as there are mechanical similarities and suspicion of dead players. I'd avoid Vortox and Legion, as these are specifically nomination-heavy, but maybe that can work with the right script. The rest might make for a good filler if you want more demons on the script as options, but I don't see any especially interesting interactions.

That would go with an idea I had for an outsider that acts like a reverse poppygrower, where good doesn't see the script, and the effect only ends if they are killed at night.
