Such a magnificient terrain! Superb, love the different levels, kind of ground, the outstanding rope bridge (guess it will be a fantastic game objective!)...and the buildings...a dream for wargamers!😍😍👍👍

Not only a beautiful board (very envious!), but also a great job with the video editing. Nice to see the whole build in one go. Looking forward to seeing some battle reports on it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I’m going to have to figure out a good solo battle report format that works with these rules!

That is one hugely enviable 'summer project'. Love the river and bridge. The sea front with buildings is great too. Enjoy the heck out of the games you will play; not just Blood & Plunder, but all else that will always be played on that gorgeous table. Retired myself and a war gamer for nearly 50 years, I am green with envy!

Absolutely spectular table and project. What an amazing board! I have a suggestion for terrain in your wooden bridge corner, if you're open to them.

That’s a great question! Definitely my Pegasus Bridge board for Bolt Action. It took about 6 months of pretty consistent work.

Nice board. I have been thinking of doing a water based board, like that. Then just having land pieces to put on, so I could do things like rivers just by having gaps with banks lining them, or just make it an edge with no other bank for a sea shore, depending on need. I figure that way it is good for anything from B&P, to Chain of Command, to Frostgrave, as it is just lowered water. A cool feature, if you ever feel crazy and masochistic, would be to put a waterfall on the table edge between the two chunks of land.

Thanks! That's a great suggestion - I actually have an idea for a few terrain additions but after terrain building all summer I'm enjoying going back to painting minis for a bit!

I expect more videos of this terrain goodness in Summer of Plunder 2024! :) Out of curiosity what woodland scenic flocks did you use on the tree bits?
@axisandaliens
@axisandaliens Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Hopefully by then I can actually get around to playing a game on it! I don’t recall which specific shades of flock I used but they’re a mix of the ones you get in a shaker. Nothing special.
