I do not understand why you fail the mention insulins role in influencing the uptake of glycose (blood sugar) into muscle tissue. True the liver takes up surplus glycose, but the goal is to feed muscle tissue. In other words you are descripting a secondary process.

because they are discussing hyper AND hypoglycemia, it’s important to know where the stored sugar used for hypoglycemia comes from. if we were just talking about hyperglycemia then yes muscle absorption of sugars is important
