David sounds the same on every live broadcast of him singing. He was consistently a great singer. This stuff brings back memories of my childhood.

Tak się kiedyś grało-motoryka, dynamika, zgranie grupy, świetny wokal i improwizacje. Było minęło.

What an album. Chicago must have been in awe. So many good songs and so well done!

The band had quality, the guys' careers post BST confirm. Soloff really could do the stuff as he demonstrates.

BS&T was a force to be reckoned with when it came to improvisation. This clip really demonstrates how little Blood Sweat & Tears and Chicago had to do with each other.

Only thing bout BS&T for me is that David and Bobby were the only animated ones in the group.But musically they were all just fabulous and one of my faves! Anyone ever notice that David's speaking voice is so far afield from his singing voice? Amazing.
They were definitely sweaty that night. This must have been late in the show. Back then I liked Chicago more than BS&T, but I'm becoming more partial to BS&T, thanks to the availability of videos like this. Can't wait to see the documentary movie. I gather it's a very intriguing story.

I came here searching for the guitar player to be playing a Hagstrom Swede, like in the endorsement ad. Extremely disappointed that they didn't even include a clip of him wailing on the solo. I don't handle disappointment well. Other than that... this is an awesome performance from a classic underrated band B,S & T🎉

Please note Mark Knopfler... a trumpet playing band can plat rock n roll,,,,, BS&T were the best at this stuff - early Chicago were pretty good but sold out to pop trash.
@tonyvincent97539 ай бұрын
The only thing Chicago had over BS&T was their guitarist.
@michaelward98809 ай бұрын
I agree 100%. The first 3 Chicago albums were brilliant. After that, not so much.

Actually, my understanding is that Knopfler was writing about a particular bar where different bands would play, and it was the patrons of that bar that didn't give a damn about a trumpet-playing band, because it wasn't what they called rock 'n roll.
