Yeah, mac stepped up to take care of children that weren't biologically his..he's been an ethical character, so I dont buy that he wouldn't want to know if Cody was his bio child.

Amen I agree this is not the mac Scorpio veiwers know this is a guy that belongs on Maury povich l am not the father show . He doesn't want to investigate or do a DNA test and he lied to Cody about Dominique and his relationship .The real mac Scorpio is inquisitive and any man without biological kids would want to know if he has a child even though he loves maxi and Georgie as his own . Maybe this is a clone or imposter and victor has the real mac Scorpio in a compound along with Charlotte, jason,Luke , holly and Hayden.

Can someone please explain to me how this show even works anymore? Whatever happened to the whole 'Who killed Luke?' story line? Not that it was a good story line, but they built it up like this big thing and then everybody just stopped talking about it. Characters like Monica and Laura (the mayor of PC) disappear for months on end without explanation? I'm being serious. I honestly don't understand.

Besides bad writing maybe, the Luke storyline likely stagnated due to the fact that GH cant featured its contract actors for extended amount of filming time due to the economics of trying to keep a soap on. That's why some of the storylines lose steam . ABC is likely losing money or just breaking even keeping this show on the air...

....As for Laura and Monica, I think Genie Francis was on vacation and Monica has never been heavily featured on the show since past regimes went on an ageist binge and started firing or limiting the older actors. Leslie Charleston disappearing for prolonged lengths of time hasn't been unusual for over a decade. Even Kin Shriner has complained that he has become a glorified day player even though he started out on this show in the 70s.

@@gabelogan5877 Thank you for the responses. I was thinking about Lucy, Scotty, Bobbie, etc. as well but just didn't want to list them all. Sounds like ABC should stop trying to have it both ways and focus more on a smaller cast with much better writing. There's no reason to tune-in at all unless there is least a shred of consistency with the characters and stories.

This is not like a fine upstanding man like mac Scorpio would act it is totally out of character. The real mac Scorpio is not afraid of change is inquisitive and would have told Cody the truth about Dominique and his relationship and would have got a DNA test right away. And a man who has no biological children would be happy he had a son even though he loves and considers maxi and Georgie his kids. This mac Scorpio doesn't even want to investigate or get to know Cody or tell him the truth. The writers dropped the ball on this one. I agree with others this is not mac Scorpio he is acting like the guys on Maury povich show l am not the father.

He doesn't have to be matched with britt and he could be an undercover agent. Even if he is shady or isn't mac Scorpio son Dominique was also involved with ned Quartermaine and Robert Scorpio. Josh Kelly is a veteran and l love and support my veterans and general hospital and all the actors even those whose characters l don't like such as esme .
