House Rule: Count beating a chapter as getting to a lamp/bonfire. When you die you just start back at the last lamp.

So far my main negative in terms of gameplay are the boss fights. Several of the recent ones, I've literally gone through a phase in a single turn, so two turns to wipe a boss. That doesn't feel like a proper boss fight. Is it cool to be a solid combo off? Yes. But it does make the bosses lack the oomph vibe you get in the video game. Solo, doing 7-8 dmg in a single turn isn't all the tough especially in a campaign when you throw in Runes and Tools. I've done that even in a Chalice Dungeon run where I had just a single Upgrade in my entire deck. Close call as it was the final-final turn? Yes. Epic feels? Meh, not so much.

Great review! Especially for me, as a solo player. But as I understand it, it hasn't been released to the public yet, and only ships to Kickstarter backers. Or you buy it on ebay from someone selling their surplus KS kits I guess.
