Steven Elliott's face and bone structure are reminiscent of Ludwig, specifically when you get the closeup of his face mid-fight when he gets the Moonlight Greatsword and you see the visage of what was once human. It's amazing how a game that focuses so little on story (from the player's perspective) can go above and beyond to find great talents to voice all of these characters. Versus games like skyrim, where dialogue choice is a pivotal feature yet we get bored and lazy voice acting.

Does anyone here know if there is an "original" language for Bloodborne ? Was the project multilingual ? I guess Miyazaki wrote his ideas in Japanese, but was the recording first English, or Japanese ? Was the text first written in Japanese and then translated into other languages, or was it first English so it'd be translated more easily ?

Can't speak definitively for Bloodborne but I know for a fact that Dark Souls was always voice acted in English by default. Take that however you want.

English was recorded first since I believe it didn't even have a japanese dub in the japanese version until the game of the year edition came out. Don't quote me on that though.
